Santos refuses to resign. New York Representative Nicole Malliotakis, said today, "The charges against Santos are extremely serious and deeply disturbing and he simply doesn't have the trust of his constituents or colleagues. The sooner he leaves, the sooner his district can be represented by someone who isn't a liar and fraud."

Cynical me is thinking the sooner he leaves, the sooner his district can be represented by another liar and fraud.
 
USA Today reports that "George Santos pleaded not guilty Wednesday to 13 federal charges including fraud and lying to Congress." I expect any minute now he will denounce the charges as a "con job," a "big fat hoax." a "disgrace" and "a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time."
 
I watched Donald Trump on CNN tonight. He still says he does not know E. Jean Carroll even after being found guilty of sexual abuse and he still says the 2020 election was rigged. He was asked to admit he lost and he would not do it.
