Celebrities Getting Into Trouble

I've been marathoning Brooklyn 99. It's a cool show. Not great, but very good.

Anyway got me thinking about metoo. Terry crews got #metoo'ed. He went public abt how some Hollywood big shot grabbed his dick or whatever.

He's like way stronger physically than all of us at drc put together. He's president Camacho. But he's also an actor. So some big director guy comes by and grabs his dick what ya gonna do? Knock him out and ruin ur career or just politely take it?

I know accusations are not facts or proof. That's why we have courts. But I sympathize w the dude. And if he's dealing w that I sympathize with the lady actors way more....it much be so much harder for them.

Once again I do wanna stress that male or female accusations are just that. Look at Johnny, those accusations were basically proven false. So who the fuck knows. Take it to court. After the verdict I'll believe the side that wins...and even then sometimes they get it wrong....

But not statistically usually.

Johnny was a civil trial not a criminal one. And technically the courts don't prove you innocent (see OJ Simpson) but determine whether the prosecution has enough evidence to find you guilty.

OK I get it. We've had this fight b4. Not guilty doesn't mean innocent. But it's the closest we got man.

And yea civil trials are different. The burden of proof is WAY more on the defendant. But still, it's the system we've all agreed to. And it works more than it fails.

Mystikal could be in prison for the rest of his life. Considering the large number of rappers who get shot and killed, he can consider himself fortunate.

Alex Jones tries to raise money off of Sandy Hook trial as jury awards families nearly $1B

Jones declined opportunities to present evidence and defend himself. However, he went on to call the trial a “kangaroo court” and insinuated Judge Barbara Bellis was a deep-state operative during broadcasts of his Infowars show, falsely claiming he was not allowed to defend himself.

Much of the trial centered on how much money Jones made off spreading his Sandy Hook lies. He continued to try and profit off those lies as Bellis was reading the jury’s verdict.

“If we don’t get to a billion, I’m not going to be happy,” he said. “I want to be the billion-dollar man.”

He then directed viewers to a site where they could make donations to “save Infowars.”

“Your pennies counter their millions,” Jones said.

Jones has called the trial a “political hit job” and said he was “actually proud to be under this level of attack.”

Was her profile pic Musk's severed head?

After reading the article, it's clear the platform is doing as predicted. Going from democracy to totalitarian basically overnight.

Twitter: OBEY THE MUSK!

It was never democracy. There was always some nutbars being censored. Just different nutbars now.

I still maintain the only people on twitter are twits. Nothing has changed in that regard.

I think pre-Musk, there was no one person who controlled content and a group of executives likely determined what was acceptable/unacceptable. Warnings were given to violators before removing them. And it was free to be a verified person of fame.

Now under Musk he wants people to pay to say they are a certain famous person (easily exploited, as proven) and people have already been suspended/restricted instantly. Dictatorship.

IMO, Twitter should just be a place you can speak your mind (without hate speech, market manipulation, threats or dangerous misinformation). It's where I find out when artists I like release new music, see firsthand video of incidents occurring around the world, and join in on the worldwide conversations about what's happening on this funky mudball we call Earth.
