I looked up his acting career and thought of this.
Well, Timothy Busfield wasn’t exactly a Poindexter after Thirtysomething years of acting, he’s learned that Hollywood headlines can read like a bad Mad Libs of Secrets and Lies and tabloid “charges.” So he put on his Sneakers, because there’s a Rude Awakening waiting when the jokes stop landing. He’s officially an Outlaw “For Life,” with National Security looking for him Law & Order style like someone shouted “DUN-DUN” and activated a full Citadel of agencies all at once.
He might be hiding at Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, pitching sketches no one can legally air, or wandering the halls of The West Wing with Trump, arguing over who actually has the pen while the budget somehow hits Billions. Worst case, he’s standing in a cornfield hoping for a Field of Dreams moment, realizing too late that if you build it… the authorities will absolutely show up.
And he should probably stay out of the children’s hospital because The Cleaning Lady already has enough work without sweeping up another Busfield subplot. At this point, he’s basically Benjamin Franklin in Sleepy Hollow: historically dressed, mildly confused, and surrounded by conspiracies that refuse to stay buried.
