We took Grace Jones' Pull Up To The Bumper literally. Those videos were taken by the photographers who follow us around. We call them the pup-arazzi. The automobile dealer knew it was us because he has Collar ID. We might get convicted of vandalism and be sent to the dog prison. That is a terrierfying thought. Maybe the Governor will be nice and grant us a pawdon."

......but you couldn't come up with something about the cars being on an impound lot?
 
I was going to say something about a "barking lot" but decided against it. I wish I had thought of "impound lot." Good one!

I remember a Dave Berg cartoon in an old issue of Mad. A man driving a car with his wife in the passenger seat says, "That crazy dog is chasing our car again. Why do dogs chase cars? I'm going to stop the car and let him think he caught it. We'll see what he does." (The dog is not shown.) In the last panel, the man and woman are scowling and the man says, "Well, now that we know, let's go find a car wash."
 
Mister Hectic, I hope you won't hound him about that furever. He simply made what the French call a "bone mot." Speaking of which, do you know what chemists' dogs do with their bones? Barium.

The American Automobile Association says the nationwide average price of a gallon of unleaded is $3.66. California always has the highjest gas prices in the United States and they've been steadily rising for the past eight weeks. I just got gas at the Arco in Glendale. It was $5.35 a gallon! Yikes! The price at the nearby Chevron is $5.60. Double yikes!
