Car Talk

A buddy picked up a 2014 Audi A5 a couple weeks ago. Drove around some local twisties. Automatic, which I don't prefer. Nice ride. No oh shit bar on the passenger side. Weird.

The 8 year old me wants the Michael Knight, but my 9 year self wants the ferrari, my 6 year old self wants the magnum but my 5 year old self sees the advantage of traveling back in time to alert Kobe not to get on that chopper.

Is there a version of you that is older than 9?

The good ol cimarron does get it's own section of awful but the one that checked all the boxes of horrible was the Yugo. The rest are their opinions on best cars in there particular era's.

Do you guys throw the e brake when you park? I've noticed that most people (at least in my life) don't. I do. It's a thing my mom would do and I guess it's carried over.

I do, but I have a stick. It's either that, or put it in gear, which I don't like doing- unless I'm parked on a steep hill.

We only use it on steep hills in the wife's car.

I have an automatic, so I only use in on hills and sloped pavement.
My model of car has some history of transmission issues, so I try to keep the stress off of it.

I do the brake all the time. Not sure why. Never owned a standard. Grew up in Saskatchewan which is not known for hills.
