From his post on BTLS:
"i begged sirius not to take this option, we had other options and this was the last last last one, that they took, due to the economy. they could not continue to pay us what we deserved for an exclusive show, so as a last ditch effort they decided on this...again, i am not happy about it and i am sorry, but why am i to blame. "
He acts like SiriXM is stealing his show! Here's ANOTHER option - tell them no, go to terrestrial exclusively (or better yet, see what you're REALLY worth and do a podcast), and let your fans be mad at the big bad corporation instead of you. Rather than do that, he sold himself - and his fans - out for what is probably not a lot of money.
"Why do i have to do two shows in order to make the kind of money that other radio personallities do for 4 hours a day?"
Because...your show's not very good? :clueless:
There's just no reason to do this. No one - not his fans, and not people who don't listen to him anyway - want to hear a terrestrial radio show on satrad. How does either side win in this? And this entire shit show is going down on something Howard's name is on? Welcome to the revolution.
