I'm not saying BvS ultimate edition is perfect, just those extra 30 minutes help fix plot holes throughout the film. I can't remember all the extra scenes, besides the Africa stuff. Nor I feel like rewatching that film anytime in the future when I'm in a DCEU mood.


That why I rather watch MCU films they are more entertaining and explain their storylines. Plus its fun to find those easter eggs that link each other movie to other movies and explaining the future movies.

I think I figured it out. Make a string of movies that would be good by themselves, tack on some obvious maguffin that links them all together, then mock the obviousness of the maguffin.

We should predict how long VIII will stay at #1. Let's put the over under at 6 weeks. I say under and it gets 5 weeks at #1.

IDK the full lineup of upcoming movies but with VII, The Revenant and Ride Along 2 knocked it out of 1st after 4 weeks. I don't know of any big mass appeal but also Oscar movies getting wide releases in January so that's why I'm guessing VIII will stay on top for 1 extra week for 5 total.

I thought VII lasted longer. I would expect the same for VIII at any rate.

I say The Last Jedi will be #1 for at least 4 weeks. Because The Post comes out in Jan 12th and I believe that movie, will over take The Last Jedi.

Only other big movies, coming out between them are:

The Greatest Showman
Jumanji

Possibly some other good movies, that will probably come in the top 5:

Call Me By Your Name
All The Money In The World
Molly’s Game
Insidious
The Commuter

Couple of dumb films

Downsizing and Father Figures
