Box Office Predictions

Cool. I read it back in the mid 1980's, so there's a lot I don't remember, just that it was really good. The previous attempt for a movie adaptation was not.

I haven't seen the theatrical version of IT yet (saw the TV miniseries when it came out in 1990), but I do know that there's one particular part from the book that isn't in the theatrical release for good reason. I'm sure you know the part I'm talking about. :brow:

I never read the book, but I know what part you are talking about. Because I heard about the scene in an old movie podcast.

It was VERY close, but It regained the #1 spot again:

Weekend Box Office Results for September 29-October 1, 2017 - Box Office Mojo

The new Blade Runner's getting a lot of promotion and 3,900 screens. It'll be #1:

Upcoming Movies in Theaters and on DVD

‘Kingsman’ Edges Out ‘It’ In Fierce Three-Way B.O. Tie; Early AM Figures Have ‘American Made’ In 3rd – Monday

I was listening to my daily movie podcast and some new some that Kingman 2 won #1 spot?

1. Kingsman 2 - $16.975
2. It - $16.93
3. American Made - $16.758

But it doesn't matter who was #1 as long Tom Cruise movie didn't made the top spot. :laughcry:

We almost went to see Blade a runner yesterday, but by the time we were done getting dinner, a 2-1/2 hour long movie just seemed too long.

I was told you don't need to see BladeRunner 1 to understand BladeRunner 2049 so we will probably go sometime soon
