Bowl Game Pick'em League

I noticed the ESPN one is setup the same as Yahoo with the "confidence points", so there's really no point in doing both. What about the Fox Sports one? I can't seem to get into that one...is it also based on the "confidence points"?

If someone can setup one where you just pick the games based on spreads, I'd join that too in addition to the one Aaron setup at Yahoo. I'd actually prefer it. I'm not a big fan of the "confidence points".



EDIT: I managed to get into the Fox Sports group you created, but I noticed it's set up with "bonus points", which is really the same thing as confidence points. I'm going to set up one at Fox Sports where you just pick against the spread and there's no bonus points, that way we can have it both ways (one at Yahoo w/ confidence points and one at Fox Sports without). Hope that makes sense.

Okay, so in addition to Aaron's Yahoo group, I've made a new one at foxsports.com where you simply pick the games based on the spread. No "confidence points" are used, so you just get a point for each game you pick correctly. This way, I figure we can have two groups where different formats are used (Aaron's Yahoo and this one).

If you want to join, go to FOX Sports Fantasy - College Bowl Pick'em
Then, once you have everything set up, search for "The DRC II" under private groups. The password is siriusxm.

Good luck to everyone in the league! Games start bright and early (10:00 am here) tomorrow morning with the EagleBank Bowl between Wake and Navy.
 
Navy loses a game much closer than the final score indicates. Congrats to Wake Forest.

This puts me behind early...but not too far!

EDIT: I stand corrected, Aaron saw this game clearly and with much conviction!! 31 points to him with the Demon Deacon's win.
 
I didn't bother switching the games around in any order. I just left them as is and made my picks...:)

I have 16 points so far with Wake Forest Win , and right now Fresno is leading and I have them with a 15 confidence on Yahoos. CBS Sports I have 11 points there and Fresno with a 31. ESPN I have 16 with Wake Forest win and Fresno with 15.
 
I just joined, I missed 4 games but there still plenty more to choose from.

Yeah! Southern Miss comes from 10 behind to beat Troy in New Orleans Bowl. The FG kicker clunks one in overtime that barely bounces back in off the cross bar. Troy's FG attempt is blocked.

Well after five fairly unattractive match-ups to start off the bowl season, we all get an early Christmas present tonight with the Poinsettia Bowl. Boise State will try to finish with their second undefeated season in three years, but the Horned Frogs have one nasty defense and an excellent team themselves. I actually like TCU in this one.

Other than the BCS games (the Orange notwithstanding), I think this may be the most appealing game to me. The Holiday Bowl is up there too.

(Of course the Cotton Bowl will be my favorite game)
