I'm hoping the same thing. Look, we're only on the second day of this merged channel lineup. I say give it a little time, let them work the kinks out, and maybe things will improve. Like Grupsaar said, hopefully they'll adopt some of Lucy's programming. Whatever they do, GET COLDPLAY OUTTA HERE!!!
One of the selling points for me buying Satellite radio was because the musictalk/ was uncensored, so if SiriusXM is gonna start censoring shit then whats the point.

A couple of weeks ago, before the name changes, XM removed the "XL" labels from Squizz (Octane) and Boneyard (Buzzsaw). Pretty sad. It's FM.

Hence the "old" part.. I didn't realize they did it back then, which makes me wonder why they'd be doing it now.
That's how the shirts at Sirius roll as you see from an article from 2005. It started with the Express which used to be an all funk channel on Sirius 44 and has continued until today.

I just heard Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy" unedited on 24. Unedited for the first time.

The other day, I noticed that Jet's "Cold Hard Bitch" was displayed as "Cold Hard B****".

I do wonder if this was an XM problem, not Sirius's.

A few weeks ago, I noticed it was "NWA - F*** Tha Police." I do remember a long time ago seeing a song title edited out on the scroll.

Censorship on Lithium is completely unacceptable to me. I understand the need on the "mainstream" channels, but not Lithium. I've loved having Sirius for the past 5 years but if this is the new Sirius, then it's not worth it anymore. I can get this crap on FM.

i think this ch is being broadcast out of dc xm used to censor music that wasn't on xl chs i think it will just take some time for the pds to get the censored tracks out of the playlist.

Lithium was my favorite. I could not care less about "deeper" tracks. I skip that shit on cd's when I buy them because they are shit!

Ding! Exactly. I have Sirius and my wife has XM , I never understood XM's obsession with playing what seemed to me to be almost no hits, just obscure tracks and lesser acts. If they were crap in the 80's or 90's and no one wanted to hear them, why play them now? I have no problem with throwing in deep cuts every so often but not every other song.

And Lithium has gotten rediculous. I am seriously considering dropping my radio when this year's payment is up. Sirius screwed up or dropped so many of the channels I liked (Lithium, Buzzsaw, Backspin, 80's, Strobe) and XM'ed them for lack of a better word, that I am getting fed up. Call me old fashioned, but I really did like Sirius before the merger - way better playlist choices and channels that reflected more specific genres and styles.
