Last night the temperature went down to -16c + wind chill. -18c is 0f for reference. It's supposed to warm up to -5c this afternoon and more this evening when we get an Alberta clipper. Another 5-10cm of snow expected. But temps should become more reasonable after that and towards the weekend.

Things are looking up around here.

What was so weird about today was that after my yard was snow covered from Saturday, it all melted today even though the temp never got up to 32. It was even melting in the morning when it was around 20. We are supposed to have the same type of temperatures in the next week and a half around 60. I should be able to keep going with my state park and biking goal for March. Next Friday we are going to Milwaukee Admiral Hockey game, should be a clean drive.

We're on a roller coaster for the next ten days or so.
It was a record high today of 71 degrees.
We always make the joke that we get all four seasons in a week, but it's true this week.
72 tomorrow, full on rain/thunder storms Wednesday, and snow on Friday night & Sunday.
Our average high is between 45 & 50 around now.

70 for us today. It was the first time I saw people without coats. Lots of little dogs being walked. Nice girl in red convertible.
A good day to be out there. I almost skipped the seniors musical movie but they were having a Jack Webb movie so I had to see if he was going to sing in it.

But our drop begins Tuesday

+16c today. Went out without a coat. Will be reasonably warm for next couple of days then back to deep freeze with snow Thursday and Friday.

Our snow is gone. It melts fast.

Yesterday we hit 63 here, today 65. It cools off after, but closer to normal.

We had 2 to 3 feet of snowpack, so it'll take some more time for it all to go away. But the snow coming off the roof the past few days has sounded like downtown Tehran.
We had a lot here. I didn't measure. It didn't take long to melt.
