Nigel Olsson
#18 "Dancin' Shoes"
#34 "Little Bit of Soap"

Never heard of him or either song. Subjectively a zero hit wonder?
I have heard of "Dancin' Shoes". Heard it a lot in 1979. Not the other.

He is most famous for his involvement (as a musician) with Elton John. Was the drummer for his last tour to Toronto as well.

As a solo artist, subjective OHW.

I remember Dancin' Shoes. I also remember A Little Bit Of Soap – but not by Nigel Olsson. I call him a one-hit wonder. I remember the latter song as a 1961 #12 hit by the Jarmels. It was Bert Berns' first hit as a songwriter. He went on to co-write several hits including Twist & Shout, Hang On Sloopy and Piece Of My Heart. The Jarmels, an R&B quintet who took their name from a street in Harlem, released seven singles, 1961-63. This is the only one that charted:

Gym Class Heroes had four top 40s from 2006-2012. Their frontman has had two of them on his own, both in 2010.

Travie McCoy
#4 "Billionaire" (w/ Bruno Mars)
#24 "Higher" (w/ Taio Cruz)
#43 "Pretty Girls" (w/ Iyaz)

Lighthouse
#24 "One Fine Morning"
#34 "Sunny Days"

"Sunny" is on this week's 70's countdown. Canadian band with 11 top 40s there (and 10 gold/platinum albums), but only two hits here. I don't know either one. Zero HW here (subjectively)?

.........sheesh! A third new 2HW on the 70s countdown this week!

Austin Roberts
#9 "Rocky" (not about the boxer)
#12 "Something's Wrong With Me"

Third in a row where I have no clue about this guy or the two hits. But I am reading he wrote a number of songs used in the original Scooby Doo cartoon series. I've probably heard those!

I have several Donna Fargo albums. She had 25 top-40 country hits, 16 top tens and six number ones. Eight of her songs made the Hot 100 but Funny Face and The Happiest Girl In The Whole U.S.A. are the only ones to make the top 40 – and I don't think either one has ever been played as an oldie (except on classic-country stations).

I know both Austin Roberts songs. Something's Wrong With Me was on the KHJ Thirty for seven weeks, peaking at #7. Rocky was on the KHJ Thirty for ten weeks, peaking at #17. Here is Dickey Lee's original version of Rocky. This went to number one on the country chart in November 1975. The background singers are Buzz Cason, Ginger Holladay, Joyce Knight, Yvonne Hodges, Carol Montgomery, Lea Jane Berenati and Lynda K. Lance.

Mister sadchild, the reason Something's Wrong With Me is not listed on the cover of Dickey Lee's Greatest Hits album is because he never recorded the song! Doy! It's an Austin Roberts song – and it's been recorded by only two other artists, both in 1973: Brenda Lee for her album cleverly titled Brenda and the Ray Conniff Singers for their I Can See Clearly Now album.

Hayley Mills
#8 "Let's Get Together" (w/ Hayley Mills) seriously tho, billboard says Hayley Mills and Hayley Mills
#21 "Johnny Jingo"

She starred in Disney's The Parent Trap. I don't know either these songs and I've never seen the film. Subjectively a no hit wonder today?

I know both songs quite well. Hayley Mills and Hayley Mills – she played dual roles – sang Let's Get Together in The Parent Trap (one of my favorite movies) and Hayley recorded a second version for release as a single. It spent six weeks in the top ten of KFWB's Fabulous Forty survey, peaking at #4. On the KRLA Tune-dex, it got to #3. Johnny Jingo got to #24 on KFWB and #26 on KRLA. I have the 25-track Hayley Mills Let's Get Together CD, released in 2019 by the British label Jasmine Records. It includes both versions of Let's Get Together. Here are Hayley and Hayley performing the song:
