Speaking of maps, I was wondering the other day, about how Wisconsin got screwed out of the top of their state. I mean, it belongs to Michigan, but it's not connected to Michigan, it's just the rest of Wisconsin's land. Was there some kind of civil war?

Speaking of maps, I was wondering the other day, about how Wisconsin got screwed out of the top of their state. I mean, it belongs to Michigan, but it's not connected to Michigan, it's just the rest of Wisconsin's land. Was there some kind of civil war?

When I was stationed in Korea, I worked with a guy from Lower Michigan, who married a woman from Upper Michigan (the UP). He was divorcing her because in his words, "Girls from the UP are the biggest sluts in the world".

So maybe the people in Wisconsin figured that out a long time ago, and told Michigan, "Here, you take this".

Perplex no more I'm here. We call it the Upper Peninsula. Ive never been up there but I here its great for fishing and looking at waterfalls. There actually was a civil war for the land between Michigan & Ohio but the Badgers stayed out of it.
