Robo Slave cleans under my couch! I haven't seen under the couch since I moved in. I Imagine it is (or was) very dusty under there.

Sometimes I wonder if there is treasure hidden away there. I know it's not possible but it would be really cool if maybe there was a gold bar or something hidden away in the depths of the under-couch.

Our roomba fits under our new couch, which has more clearance than our other one. The new couch underspace is occupied by the cats most of the day, so I know exactly what's there.

I've talked about contigo's here before and how I like them. But today I just got a new type of cooling device which is more or less the ultimate koozie.

The bottom inside of it is tiered so it'll fit a beer bottle, a regular Coke or one of those skinny like Celsius cans. I drink a bunch of those Celsius these days at work so that works well for me. And it's walls are vacuum sealed or whatever like the contigo.

Very exciting can koozie talk. It was like 15 bucks and same day delivery so can't complain there.

I think it keeps the cans cooler longer but I've only tried 2 so far. I'll report back later. If I'm bored at work in the next few days I'll try to remember to time one can in the cooler and one not.

Yesterday I did some very scientific testing on the can koozie and I'm here to share my process and the results.

The experiment consisted of me putting a Celsius in it after lunch and then I forgot about it until I clocked out. When I realized it had been in there for 4.5 hours I took it out of the koozie and felt the can. It was still cold. So I'm happy to report that the koozie definitely works.

My father as a chemist would be so proud of my scientific method.

I think I mentioned elsewhere that I brought one of those big Yeti travel mugs to Turks & Caicos over the winter, and one day when I left some ice in it overnight, it was still solid the next morning.

I am an ex-Prime member as of March 12. The video service had a lot of shit in it's library, and most of the stuff I bought wound up breaking in six months to a year. And I used to buy my dog's food off Amazon because it was the cheapest, but I found it at our local PetsMart for the same price, and a little less with taxes. So I really had no reason to continue my membership after that.

From this point I'll probably buy direct from the manufacturer, or do local Pickup from Best Buy or some retailer in my area.

We placed an online order at around 5 pm on Wednesday, and it arrived 5 pm Thursday. That's pretty amazing. Best I could see, they have a distribution center in Nashua NH, so it probably came from there, which is about an hour away.
