So a lot has happened with me since I've been regularly posting here but let's start with by far the most important development.

I needed a new toilet seat.

Did you know they make glow in the dark toilet seats for elderly people? I didn't. But guess what? I now have one. And it is amazing!

That's the beauty of DRC. Most of the time, people post predictable things, and make predictable comments. But every so often, shit like this makes it interesting to be alive.

I'm taking PTO on purpose for the first time at this gig. I took a day here and there when my old boss....you know, the one I'm currently sleeping with (hahah that will never get old) would let me cause I called out and didn't have sick time.

Anyway...I'm off until Sunday. We were going to just spend a few days at my place. We had plans to go to Tampa for some work conference thing that was paid for her but that fell through. I'm perfectly happy to spend the time right here.

Also I'm usually off on Wednesdays and I'm taking that as a PTO day so my next check will actually be for more than normal. So that's nice.
 
Guys, I committed the cardinal sin. I'm embarrassed to even tell you. I told Pam Abt DRC. She's read this entire thread along with snippets of others.

Look. I fucked up. Yet again. I went on another bender and shut her out. I hate I did that. I love this girl. Anyway I got it in my head that this thread is more or less my diary so I should let her read it. She was cool Abt it.

I really need to stop all this bullshit for good. I know I've said it here before that I'd do it but I think I'm more committed now than ever. You all can take that w a grain of salt and rightfully so but I really am committed this time. Fuck.

So after this most recent bender it took like 2 weeks to smooth things over. I was drunk for like 9 of those days then regretful and trying to make up the other 5. Today she let me see her again. It's kinda really nice holding her.

I mean fuck. You all know the girls I've gone through. Never told any of them Abt DRC.

Anyway of the like 60 pages she read she did point out you Idrather as having some funny comebacks. You better not steal my girl you dirty old Canadian.

I call it my nerd forum. The Mrs. has no interest in visiting. If it keeps me from talking to her when she’s watching Hallmark or the murder channel, she’s happy to leave play with my little friends.

And hey! I thought I was the funny one around here!
