On July 1, 1994, adult contemporary KLIT in Los Angeles – it was pronounced "K-Lite"; let's not get vulgar – switched to an adult album alternative format as KSCA, "Southern California's Album Alternative." All I Wanna Do was the first song played: "This ain't no disco. It ain't no country club either. This is L.A." KSCA was the first southern California station to play the song. It was from Sheryl Crow's 1993 Tuesday Night Music Club album and would be released as a single on July 12. Here is a live performance from 2017:
