I listened to this as I was driving and my wife wanted to hear the countdowns -- never a more wretched collection of crap can be found. Maybe 5 or 6 good songs. I hate the late 80s and this is reason #1. I really enjoyed the 1982 one.

What countdown is next week?

With all their good songs in the 70's, it is hard to believe that was their first number 1.

Wow! Just heard The Original MTV VJ's stop by The Howard Stern show. Much deeper interview than their other appearances on The View & Today Show- An uncensored conversation to say the least! I'm not a Stern fan, but if you want to get the real inside story of the early days of MTV and the lifestyles of these 4 people and hear them curse along with Howard, you must check this out. Some tidbits:

1) Mark was a meth dealer and was married to Carol Miller from Classic Rewind.

2) Martha had a bowling date with Paul Stanley

3) Alan did Cocaine with David Lee Roth

4) Nina was a harp player before MTV and worked on Entertainment Tonight

OnDemand- Expires in 21 Days | Aired 5/7 6:00AM EST: SiriusXM On Demand - SiriusXM Radio

I heard part of that interview. I'd like to try to listen to the rest.
It was pretty good. Those were some crazy days. I know how stupid we got back then, and I was just a high school kid. The rock and roll lifestyle had to have been nutz.

Howard took them WAY out of their comfort zone, but they responded pretty well. Very strange hearing them dropping f-bombs and discussing their sex lives and drug habits! Huge departure from the image we get from hearing them on 80son8. This is Howard at his best- also enjoyed the Dixie Chick interview and in-studio performance

I just listened to the interview. Good stuff.. Crazy times, those early years of MTV. I always thought it was a good idea to bring them back together as 80's DJs on Sirius.
