if she was just some woman walking down the street id think, 'hey, shes kinda cute'. but as first lady she is clearly the second hottest. who else could take her spot?
She looks like a man to me. Just because she's the first lady doesn't mean she's hot. Most first ladies are old and not hot, maybe some were in their youth. Jackie was an exception. There is no doubt Trumps wife is a hot piece of ass. Then again I've also said I don't find power a sexy quality in a woman, it's more about their face, tits, and ass.

Why? You think Michelle Obama is hot? If so you need your eyes checked.
I'm speaking purely superficially here.
Dude, you've got issues. Dana Perino's regarded as one of the hottest women on Fox News, but you don't even think she's attractive. As far as Michelle, the world thinks she's attractive, no need for personal attacks on me. Hillary was also regarded as attractive as a first lady. I think the same goes for Laura Bush.

Just have your opinion, and keep me out of it.

When the Clintons became known nationally, they were considered an attractive couple. She was in her 30's. She sort of looked like Rebecca de Mornay's homlier sister.

People who like Laura Bush found her attractive 20 years ago. I just see a lot of plastic surgery, but I want to be politically balanced.

idk. bill may have been considered handsome but i dont think too many thought of hillary as any type of beauty. that pic you posted is the best its going to get and it still could use a lot of work. i looked up younger laura bush pics too and there is nothing all that flattering.

no thanks.

they did produce 2 good looking daughters though. no one can ever accuse the clintons of that.

that pic is unfair to jenna since she just popped out a kid when it was taken but barbara is looking good.

anyways, this has got me thinking about all the first ladies.

here is a slideshow of most of the first ladies. there are a few in there that arent outright offensive to look at but no one stands out as attractive besides jackie. and michelle hasnt been included yet so i still stand by my list that makes her the second hottest first lady.

Well I think we've covered this topic pretty well. One thing's for sure: there have been few attractive first ladies, so the bar is fairly low. And I never said Hillary was regarded as a "beauty". What you and blyons need to understand, is that there are different tiers of beauty that we're discussing. At the bottom tier is basic attractive/not attractive, applied to people for whom their careers are not related to their looks. To be considered attractive at this level, one only needs a reasonable figure and facial structure, and a degree of fitness, without any glaring disqualifiers. You know, not like Rosie O'Donnell.

But when you judge absolute beauty, hotness, or sexiness, that's a completely different level. It's like comparing a sporty road car - like a Honda Civic Si or (gasp) Miata - to a top tier performance car - like a Corvette or Porsche 911.

So, in short, Melania Trump would be in a different league from any previous first lady, not that it would matter to me.

The standard I'm using is beat-off factor (BOF), not that I will, but if I could. In no particular order:

Martha Jefferson (?) - She died before the Presidency of her husband, but he later went for her slave half-sister. Maybe the looks were there in the family? Without the advent of photography, it's a crap shoot. BOF: Depends on the portrait. *

Dolly Madison - Considered a looker back in the day. BOF: The official portrait would work; I like breasts. However, the other portraits on Google make me want to cry. *

Angelica Singleton Van Buren - The official portrait put some kind of young, innocent, ripe for corruption thought in my head right from "go." BOF: Yes, with the aforementioned role-play in my head. ***

Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy - YES! BOF: #1 by far. I should have done this outside of work. I could have looked for the Hustler pics too to confirm. *****

Claudia Taylor (Lady Bird) Johnson - I'm surprising myself, but she didn't look too bad in younger portraits. BOF: Gimme a shot of bourbon, and it's game on. ***

Laura Welch Bush - Kind of bland, but generally good. **

Melania Trump (potentially) - I may have already. I can't be sure, but I don't think that I have. A little too fake at times, like Donald's hair. BOF: Yes. No worries. I'll soldier through fake. ****

I don't think BOF can work for any other First Ladies.

Well, folks, I'm not sure if Howard posts on DRC, but I'm pretty sure Sal does.

Why are you comparing me to Sal? Martha Jefferson and Sally Hemings were half-sisters. Thomas Jefferson had six kids with each. In fact I'm going to rank her, since she was essentially his wife too. Looking at portraits on Google, she looks good. BOF: No Sal-like comments here from me. ***

'Tis a joke. I was reading your post and instantly thought of his apology before I was finished reading.
