We also watched The Devil Wears Prada 2 Red Carpet Show on Hulu before going to the movie. In my dresswear, I started a new trend for myself by wearing a tie clip without the tie. I had fun at the movie. And it wasn't bad. Lady Gaga did make an appearance but no Sydney Sweeney. Laufey's song "Mr Eclectic" was in the movie so I guess Laufey is part of The Devil Wears Prada franchise.

For my Tuesday $6 Special today, I saw "Deep Water". It was ok. Probably the least liked movie this year but I didn't regret going, at least for $6.
Plus, you can't beat the free popcorn with my discounted hot dog and soda.
It started like "Lost" then a little "Poseidon Adventure" then it became "Jaws". Or you could say it was "Lost" with sharks instead of the smoke monster.
I couldn't decide if the villain in the movie was the sharks or the complaining passenger. The first officer had his hands full with both.

They did have a nice cut out display of the movie, so I got a picture of that before I left. And I saw that, that Monica Barbaro, whom I was quite taken with in "Crime 101" has a new movie out in August, "One Night Only".

I went solo today; my Sweetie was sick. She said she didn't want to go to this one anyway, but we were on a roll recently with going to the movies together

I didn't recognize the name Monica Barbaro, so I looked her up. She played Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan movie. So I do know her.

You haven't seen Your Friends and Neighbors? Dude, that show was made for you. Aside from the off-the-rails social behavior, each episode highlights some high-end watch, and describes it in detail. Sometimes it's a Fabergé egg, or a pen or something. It's all about the bling; mansions, exotic cars, expensive liquor, just excess. But it's all presented in a sarcastic manner.

If you haven't watched Your Friends and Neighbors yet, I may have to come down and smack you on the back of the head.

I've been racking my brain to figure out where I've seen him before. He played his own twin on Dead to Me, with Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini (who also starred in DTF St. Louis). It seems like he was created in a lab for the purpose of playing a rich, white, handsome dickhead. Anyway, Your Friends & Neighbors continues to be very entertaining. In the latest episode, they had an over-the-top Passover seder. Fun stuff.

Yes, she's ever wise and a no bullshitter. He learns a lot from her. And IMO, Amanda Peet is the perfect ex. She was always the most desirable and classy girl in every movie, and it's good to see her in this role, at this age.

Oh yea, it was the Pepsi Seiko. I bumped the watch thread and it reminded me that I got my SKX009 after you showed me yours years ago. That's my second ever automatic watch and the first that I had to really love before dishing out that type of cash.

If you can put aside your feeling that it's a show for middle-aged women, and just watch a few episodes, you'll likely find it's great. That's why it's won Emmys every year. And also, I should remind you that the young writer, Hannah Einbinder, is Laraine Newman's daughter.

But if you decide that "meh, it's not for me", it doesn't affect my life either way.

I meant to comment on Star Trek on my previous post.
Paramount Plus will release Season 4 of Star Trek Strange New Worlds on June 23rd. Around a 10-15 year prequel to the original Star Trek series.
So far we have seen Captain Pike, before his accident, as the Captain of the Enterprise. Spock is the science officer, Uhura is already the communications officer,
Chappel is already the nurse in sick bay, Scotti is like a transporter specialist, and Kirk is a lieutenant on the Farragut, but always finds a way to be on the show. And Kirk's brother Sam is alive and part of the Enterprise crew. Missing so far: McCoy, Sulu and Chekov. Maybe they will make an appearance in Season 4. at least McCoy and Sulu. Chekov shouldn't but you never know.

I saw that and he made me happy as always. I'm playing this up a bit but in all honesty when I see him on TV he makes me happy. It's weird, but it's just what happens. He's incredibly entertaining.

I read your post last night and I wanted to talk about how much I am in love with Steve and he's the only little fella who is allowed to get all worked up about political stats. He's so cool that NBC knows it and they put him on football and the Kentucky Derby and s***. Hahah. I need to figure out how to make my phone let me curse while dictating messages.

Anyway, like I said I saw this post yesterday. I didn't respond to it but it made me happy because you're absolutely right. He is my favorite. He's probably my favorite Newsman on all channels put together.

Then tonight I was watching some YouTube thing and they had a clip of this f****** a****** poser and it made me mad and I had to talk about it here. F*** this dude:
