Not to change the subject but went to the movies today.
Saw "You, Me and Tuscany". It was a cute movie, It was similar to Sandra Bullock's "While You Were Sleeping" except the setting was Italy instead of Chicago.
Good music and scenery. I would call the Sleeper of the Year #2
Wasn't there a movie set in Tuscany already, starring Diane Lane? Like the Tuscan Sun?

That could be. I think I saw a copy at the library. I should check and let you know what it is about. Tuscany looks very nice.
Of course, my favorite Diane Lane movie would be "Secretariat". I think she also played Katherine Graham in a Watergate movie recently.

I have a question? Do you know what "Beef" is about I saw your post where it sounded like you may have seen Season 1. We never heard of it before and started seeing it up on our Netflix menu for Season 2. I'm still like to watch "Man on the Inside". That first scene in Season 2 when Charles loses the feeling in his leg cracks me up. That's me when I have to drive for hours.

We finished Man on the Inside shortly after it came out. Yes, despite being full of old-person jokes and dad jokes, it's a funny show. I think the fact that he's an engineer and still tech savvy is interesting to me.

When Beef came out, I thought it was a one-and-done series. It was a very entertaining show about two people who have a "beef" with each other. It starts with a road rage situation, and turns into a full-on quest for vengeance. A big feature of the first season was that it had a mostly Asian-American cast, and was set in a wealthy Asian section of L.A. It got into the rivalries between Japanese, Korean, and Chinese ethnicities, which I'm a little bit familiar with from experiences at my workplace and college. Also, it starred Ali Wong, who was already well-known as a comedian and actress.

The new season of Beef seems to have dropped the Asian angle. So it looks to be more like The White Lotus, where the cast and people are mostly different from one season to the next.
