We finally started watching The Studio with Seth Rogen on Apple TV. Thought it would be too "insider-ish", but so far, it's good. And there seems to be no limit to the big-name cameos he can get. Also, it's the last thing Catherine O'Hara did.

I really like my Tuesdays at the movies. I saw "Wintertime Break" today. It was slow and boring and I loved it. It was the perfect movie for me to see on a cold but dry overcast day. It was about a senior married couple who take a trip to Amsterdam. It was like watching a typical couple travelling and staying in a hotel and sightseeing. We finally find out that the women is struggling with the marriage. She was shot in Ireland 30 years earlier caught in a crossfire and made a pledge to the good Lord that if she survived, she devout her life. She believes she is visiting a nunnery and wants to become a nun but learns she is visiting a community center for single women 30-60 years old. In the meantime, her husband finds a vinyl record store and they are playing Thuderclap Newman "Something In The Air" in the background. I said to myself Hey we were just talking about that in Scotch's post. They didn't play the interlude though. In the end, she returns back home with her husband. As far as myself, I only had the free popcorn. I'm proud of myself for skipping the soda and hot dog. I would not watch this movie on streaming, and I wouldn't have gone unless it was the $6 Tuesday admission.

We are getting closer to the list of Wolf's blockbusters originally posted. I don't know if I want to see "The Bride" but I'd like to see "Project Hail Mary"
Also I'd like to see "Reminders of Him". I remember seeing the previews last November.

My movie on Tuesday was exactly called "Midwinter Break" not Wintertime Break. I didn't even remember the name of my movie.

For TV, I was thinking of watching "Paradise" on Hulu. I watched the first episode which was ok. Shailene Woodley is supposed to be in the 2nd season.
I don't know why but I was hooked on her teenage show Secret Life when it was on ABC Family and I watch favorite scenes from time to time. I've seen some of her movies and "Big Little Lies". I've also been rowing to get my legs, knees and gluts in better shape for the watching the entire Ncaa Tournament in March

I think this needs more explanation. Are you exercising so you'll feel more fit while you're watching athletes compete? Or are you getting set to endure more time sitting in front of a TV without getting cramps?

Thank you for inquiring. It is the second: Getting set to endure more time sitting in front of a TV without getting cramps. I enjoyed watching all the games last year but got a sore body. I almost wanted to quit after the Badgers lost a close 2nd round game but stayed with it. I was going to pass this year but I got a deal on HBO Max where they are giving me half price for the next two months. So I will once again use their Multi Screen Platform with the TV upstairs in my alcove and I can still see the CBS broadcast from my room. The tournament is in two weeks with the first four games Tuesday night, then Thursday through Sunday will be an all day affair. It gets easier after that. I have been using the rowing machine for 30 minutes every other day for the past week and a half to get ready. I am going to use a seat cushion too. I just watched a video of my You Tube follower Taylor Bell getting ready to do the New York City Marathon for the first time with only 12 weeks training and she did it. So I can do this. Mostly I want to use my HBO Max. It is the streaming service I use the least. I am not sure if I will keep it after the special ends

Look, if you had one shot to sit on your lazy butt
And watch all the TV you ever wanted until your brain turned to mush
Would you go for it or just let it slip?
Yo
Remote is ready, eyes wide, palms are sweaty
There's Flintstones on the TV already, Wilma and Betty
No virgin to channel surfin', and I'm HD ready
So I flip, garbage is all I'm getting

I just wanted to say Margot Robbie was very good (acting) in "Wuthering Heights" I thought this was going to be a snoozer but it was like an 18th century Guiding Light.

And we're watching the Actor Awards (SAG) with Kristen Bell on Netflix

You can add "Scream 7" to my list of movies seen this year. I saw it in the UltraScreen room of my cinema. It had Neve Campbell, Coutney Cox, McKenna Grace, Matthew Lillard and many more. I saw Scream 1 and 2 and maybe 3 and 4. I know I did not see Scream 6 but it had Jenna Ortega so I should go back and see it. Maybe I can check it out at the library. I had no trouble understanding the story line as most it referred to the original Scream. There was even a character named Madison in the movie but she didn't last long.

This was my 8th Tuesday Special movie and my first movie from Wolf's Blockbuster List. Not including "Marty Supreme" "Wuthering Heights" or the Margaret Qualley movie. This was my first time in the UltraScreen #5 room. It was smaller than UltraScreen #6 but still plenty of room. I had to go get my free popcorn after the movie started because the concession line was so long for "Goats". I knew from experience that Scream movies have long drawn-out scenes after the beginning act. I can tell the concession girl is beginning to recognize me.

I appreciate they had a part for Kevin Tighe (Emergency) now he could be part of an Oscar winning film
I didn't even realize he was in there...was he one of the Christmas Adventurer assholes?

The place we saw it at got their tech issues fixed, so we're seeing it next Tuesday again in 70mm for my wife's birthday,

Over the weekend, we watched Man on the Run on Amazon Prime. It was interesting, with commentary from Paul, and other musicians. Lots of historical footage, and behind the scenes stuff from his private life. It extensively covers the breakup of the Beatles, and the aftermath for Paul and his family. It went into his solo albums, and the formation of Wings. It followed all the Wings years until they were done. It also covered all his drug arrests.

I already have enough shows as I keep trying out some new ones.

Haven't watch yet premiered on Apple TV "The Hunt"

Just watched DTF St. Louis which is a dark comedy on Max and has a pretty good cast. Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Richard Jenkins, Joy Sunday and Linda Cardellini

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins a dumb comedy on Peacock staring Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe and Erika Alexander from Living Single.

Seth MacFarlane has couple old shows coming back out again.

It took couple of years, season 2 of Ted on Peacock just came out and all 8 episodes are out.
