I dug "La La Land". It would be interesting to pair it with "New York, New York". They are almost mirror images of each other.

We saw Lion tonight. The story of the 5 year old from India that got lost and traced his way back home 25 years later.
This may have been the first real movie we have seen since our new theater opened close to two years ago. We've always gone to the popular movies instead.

Spoilers: He gets his car back but wrecks the shit out of it doing so. He gets a new dog which doesn't die before the end of the movie, but most likely will die at some point in the near future.

i will be seeing get out in a theater at some point. it's getting amazing reviews and i like how peele is breaking away from comedy with this one.

Mrs. Bag and I went to the Alamo Drafthouse Top Brass party tonight. Free drinks and food, a tour of the projection booth, Q&A session with the programming director, and then they showed a great film that we can never name.

Wow.

I forgot, we also got a goodie bag. Gremlins tiki mug, Drafthouse pin and a strip of 35mm film. Looks like "Slapshot" maybe.
