Welcome to the 684th edition of Who Am I?, the weekly game where I dish out a daily clue to a subject and you have to guess who or what it is.

Every day, the clues get easier. The winner of this week's game gets a piece of my gratitude.

This week's subject is a PERSON.

CLUE #1: I was widowed at 50.

I started with Patton but think he was older than 50. Tucci seemed much closer, but I didn't stop to do the math. I may be off by a year or so depending on birth dates.

Clue #2 implies that the mystery person had only two sons. Bing had four sons with his first wife, singer/dancer/actor Dixie Lee (real name: Wilma Wyatt). They were Gary, Lindsay and twins Dennis and Philip. Bing was 49 when she died of ovarian cancer.

That's all very well-researched and informative, but do you have a guess of your own?

Not yet. Yesterday I spent two hours searching for actors, musicians and athletes who died between the age of 45 and 55 and who had a well-known spouse. I was unable to find any whose spouse was widowed at age 50. I'm still working on today's clue.

I thought you had it yesterday, and now I think you have it even more so. And anyway, how would I go about researching this clue?
I was in a pinch for time this morning.
I remembered that Bing was supposed to be an A-Hole at home and saw his wife cashed out right around 50.
We'll see what clue 3 brings, because I think I'm close but wrong.

I spent too much time researching this, and came up with nothing. Good luck to the rest of you. I will just offer my wild-ass guess of Fred Trump.
