Welcome to the 556th edition of Who Am I?, the weekly game where I dish out a daily clue to a subject and you have to guess who or what it is.

Every day, the clues get easier. The winner of this week's game gets a piece of my gratitude.

This week's subject is a PERSON.

CLUE #1: After my father left, I grew up on welfare.

Bill Hudson

Congrats, Scotchandcigar!

This week's subject is Bill Hudson, 1/3 of the 1970s musical trio The Hudson Brothers. The Brothers were best-known for their two top 30 hits in 1974: "So You're A Star" and "Rendezvous". They recorded six albums, two of which were recorded with The Rocket Record Company, which was owned by Elton John. The Hudson Brothers also had two TV variety shows with CBS in 1974: The Hudson Brothers Show and The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show. The group's final appearance was the 1983 horror spoof "Hysterical".

Bill's two brothers were Brett Hudson - who became a TV producer - and Mark, who became a songwriter and producer. At the height of his fame, Bill was married to actress Goldie Hawn, which resulted in two children with her: Oliver and Kate. However, he's been estranged from both. He was married to actress Cindy Williams from 1982-2000, which also resulted in two children. His last-born was born in 2006 to an ex-girlfriend.

A week ago Sunday, the intro to The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show was part of a gag on Family Guy.
