For New Years Eve, I bought a bucket of Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken with the sides. The sides are second to none but their chicken seems to come in smaller parts now.

Still good stuff though.

EDIT: As I stated earlier in this thread, Sisters Chicken is second to none. (IMO)

Popeyes 1st and KFC 2nd(we have both chains in Anchorage, Alaska) Churchs 3rd (I have one across the street from me practically in AZ):)

I really don't eat fast food.. but when I do I like:
Boston Market (awesome spinach)

I went to Giant Eagles grocery this week who had a special on a family sized chicken dinner. Very good chicken! I am sold as KFC will be ignored from now on! The chicken is also bigger in size.

Giant Eagle Express

does it have to have a drive through window to be fast food?

if not i have to go with Moe's mexican grille. we have it down here in fl. its very similar to chipolte but not owned by mcdonalds and it tastes way better!

Chipotle is fast, but not really 'fast food'. They use a lot of organic ingredients, and most of the meat is naturally raised.

chipolte and their overlord mcdonalds suck! the rice is bad and the chicken does not match moes even on their best day.

No Moe's up here. I'll try one if I see one. But for now, I'm down with the chipotle. And I can't enough of them Fillet 'O Fishes.

Lately I find myself going more and more to UFC Korean Fried Chicken (supposedly it's healthier:scratch:), When I first heard about it I wasn't thrilled with the idea of garlic sauce on fried chicken...who the hell puts sauce on fried chicken? But it's cooked in and tastes very good, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, fresh and definitely different.

Chipolte and Qdoba ain't bad, but I like Moe's because they're cheaper.

cool, i didnt know they had moes in your neck of the woods. i ran a search on Qdoba and saw the the closest one to me is in miami. too far. but maybe next time im down there for something ill check it out. its a moes style place? which would you is better, forget about price.

Since we have different chains up north I'll give you my list.

First is a place called Dixie Lee. They are mostly in towns that are too small to support a KFC. Closest one to me is about a 45 minute drive north.

Even though there aren't many of them here, second would be Popeye's. Discovered one near the Toronto Airport in a building that was opened as an Arby's

Third is Swiss Chalet, which is rotisserie chicken and mostly sit down service but they do have a take-out window and delivery

We had Church's here in Canada for a while sold at a burger restaurant, also Kenny Roger's Roasters which are both long gone. Lots of KFC units and another Canadian chain in Mary Brown's which if I tried it, was a long time ago.

Love that chicken from Popeye's!

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has a spicy deal in store for its customers on Wednesday.

The Atlanta-based Cajun/Creole chain will offer eight pieces of its “Bonafide Chicken” for $5.99 for the one-day only event on April 21 at participating locations. The “Popeyes Pay Day” is a customer appreciation day.

“The economy is slowly recovering and times are still tough,” said Chief Marketing Officer Dick Lynch, in a statement. “It’s forecasted that unemployment could remain above nine percent through the end of 2010. Our guests have stuck with us during these challenging times and we want to thank them for their loyalty with this pay day event.”

Chicken consumed on Popeyes Pay Day last year more than tripled the average daily volume.

More than 1,500 Popeyes restaurants in the United States, Puerto Rico, Panama and Canada will participate in the discount event.

Popeyes is owned by Atlanta-based AFC Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: AFCE).
