Just listened to the Jennifer Lawrence interview. I love her. Must listen again. There are so many questions to ask this woman, why waste time on questions like what would you do if a guy you liked had herpes? What if the guy was anti-Semitic? And then to say something on the 8th grade level like "you wouldn't let him in your pussy?" Oh well. Exciting to have her on the show.
Even dummer than those questions is the thought that any celebrity would answer them honestly.

Jennifer did eventually name the movie, though I forget what it was.

Come on man, don't tell me that. I listened to the interview all the way through and must have missed that part. Now it will bother me all day but I don't have the time or patients to listen to the interview again.

My guess is that it was probably Mother because she broke up with her director boyfriend after that movie did poorly at the box office and she has said it was a strain on their relationship. Meanwhile, I'm actually looking forward to seeing that one. Seems like a neat premise.

From New York Times review of Red Sparrow "It helps that Ms. Lawrence, like all great stars, can slip into a role as if sliding into another skin, unburdened by hesitation or self-doubt. Craft and charm are part of what she brings to this role, as well as a serviceable accent, but it’s her absolute ease and certainty that carry you through “Red Sparrow.” She was born to screen stardom, and it’s a blast to see where it’s taking her."

The pics of Ronnie's mom on the stern website are really funny.

It took a little research to find out who that is playing the character. From the pic I thought it was a man but no, it's a woman named Angela Muto who apparently works on the show.

I think it was The Burning Plain. I never heard of it, so when I listened to the interview, it didn't trigger anything. But seeing her movie credits now, I believe that's what she said. It cost $20M to make, and grossed $200k.

But Charlize Theron was the star. She (Jennifer Lawrence) did Winter's Bone a little later. That was a grim little movie but she, at age 17 or 18, just dominated the screen. I cannot believe she trashed Mother because she was such a believer (I think) when it was released.

I'm usually not into the celebrity interviews, but that Jennifer Lawrence once was good stuff.

Just caught Howard's Billy Graham/Pat Robertson riff/rant. Excellent excellent Howard and Robin. At one point a defender of Billy Graham called in and got into it with Robin. In response to one of her comments, he told Robin she had to read her Bible. Wondering what particular passage he was referring to

If you want some air time with Howard, just call in and start flattering him about his painting. Wonder what he did with his photo equipment?
