just started listening to the green day interview and it started off with billy echoing so they took that effect off and now he sounds even worse. like they took all the bass out of his mic. i really hope this is not the case for the whole 2 hour interview and when they sing.

Yeah, it will have much reduced impact next week. Although it's possible Robin will have been unaware of the 2nd debate, and it'll seem new to her.

Howard loves to be mentioned on the news. Wonder how he feels about the Trump stuff? Last night Rachel Meadow ran the bit where Howard asks Trump if he would keep Melania if she were in an accident and one arm was hanging down and there was a big red spot where her eye used to be. Trump asked if the breasts were intact. Howard said yes and Trump said he would keep her. Bet Howard does not want to be known as the king of objectifying women, whatever that means.

Howard is the ultimate king of objectifying women. Especially with bits like Butterface and dumber than a box of rocks hot girl game shows.

I have always pointed to the amputee beauty contest as an example of how the genius Howard took what sounded like a lame idea and made a great show out of it. The reason the show was good was that Howard seemed so genuinely enthusiastic about the beauty and/or the anatomy of the contestants. And it was radio. We couldn't even see amputees he was talking about. So Howard is the king of objectifying. I think most men (including myself) do a lot of internal objectifying. I know that when I walk down the street (in NYC where I work and there are tons of hot women) I do instant, silent appraisals of the physical attributes and flaws of the women who walk past. Actually I'm doing it all day long no matter where I am. So will Howard say he has evolved and no longer objectifies or say this is who he is and this is who most men are? No way he can say he has evolved past objectifying. Come to think of it... all of our beauty contests objectify women. So when is objectifying a sin? When you objectify women you work with or socialize with? When you say it out loud to another man?

Bonjovi: I used to work for a recording studio to get free studio time. I'd go out for coffee, sweep up. All kinds of things. I saw many big stars there including The Rolling Stone. Mick Jagger was very nice. He once had a photo taken with me. Wish I had that photo.

Howard: When you saw those guys like Mick Jagger did you think these guys are big stars and I should be up there.? Were you jealous?

Bonjovi: No Howard. They were very nice to me. The bigger the star the nicer the guy.

I know Howard likes to ask a jealousy question of all of his guests but this was really stretching it. You would think that after 20 or so years of psychoanalysis several times a week that he would have gotten beyond his belief that it's all jealousy all the time.

On another note, Howard thanked Bonjovi for always being a friend of the show. No mention of the time they were promoting an album or tour and went on WNEW to promote it with Howard enemy Scott Muni. If I recall, they skipped THSS because they did not want to piss off Muni. Howard went on the war path for weeks. At the time, he said Guns and Roses made Bon Jovi look like little girls.

Wonder if the building where he lives defied him again and decorated the lobby for Halloween? Last year he whined that the lobby decorations endangered his parents.

He did complain that he was out-and-about over the weekend, and all the people who were dressed-up annoyed him.

On the 11/7 show, the "who's everyone voting for" segment was great. There was Sal with his crazy thoughts, and then Ronnie and Fred got into a political debate. As you would expect, Fred absolutely destroyed Ronnie.
