Bonjovi: I used to work for a recording studio to get free studio time. I'd go out for coffee, sweep up. All kinds of things. I saw many big stars there including The Rolling Stone. Mick Jagger was very nice. He once had a photo taken with me. Wish I had that photo.
Howard: When you saw those guys like Mick Jagger did you think these guys are big stars and I should be up there.? Were you jealous?
Bonjovi: No Howard. They were very nice to me. The bigger the star the nicer the guy.
I know Howard likes to ask a jealousy question of all of his guests but this was really stretching it. You would think that after 20 or so years of psychoanalysis several times a week that he would have gotten beyond his belief that it's all jealousy all the time.
On another note, Howard thanked Bonjovi for always being a friend of the show. No mention of the time they were promoting an album or tour and went on WNEW to promote it with Howard enemy Scott Muni. If I recall, they skipped THSS because they did not want to piss off Muni. Howard went on the war path for weeks. At the time, he said Guns and Roses made Bon Jovi look like little girls.
