Garry Meier to launch subscription podcast Saturday
i dont really know who gary meier is, apparently hes a big radio name in chicago. anyway he is starting a paid podcast and howard is supposedly going to be one of the early guests. now there is the whole thing about howards thoughts on podcasts that i dont really care to get into. what got me thinking was when was the last time howard did a radio interview? i know hes done interviews where he has the guy ask questions on HIS show but i cant think of a time ive heard howard interviewed on someone elses radio show.

Why does the picture on the right remind me of Billy Crystal?
The guy who impersonates Billy Crystal on the show, ironically, is not funny, fun, or sounds anything like the real Billy Crystal, IMO.
Apparently, Richard Simmons is fine. He says he hasn't gained weight and we'll see more of him. The death of his dog as well as some other stuff pushed him into "loner" mode.
Also on this episode of Inside Edition, Donald Trump's butler says that Trump has many moods... He has the nice mood and the raging "Hulk-a-Maniac" mode and he can flip back and forth at any moment... That sounds like someone else we know.

i remember celebrity death match being cool but i dont want to look it up cause i have a feeling it may not hold up.

Garry used to be partnered with Steve Dahl in Chicago during the late 70s through the early 90s. I'd listen to overnight replays on WLUP-AM while working as a security guard. On good nights, signal would reach Detroit.
He also did a show there with Roe Conn for a while, as well (I used to be able to hear it in Indianapolis since it was on WLS-AM). He is/was a pretty big name for quite a while. In my opinion, he was always better as part of a team than on his own - but I might give this podcast a listen.

yea, last week mary ann from brooklyn asked howard about it and he confirmed he did the interview. he said the two of them have been friends for awhile. im kinda looking forward to checking this out since its so rare for howard to be the interviewee for another radio person.

Oh, back when radio had long-reaching signals. There's two stations here in Columbus with horrible signals that can't be picked up in-town.
I'm thinking not. I remember whoever it was was going to pee on the ice.Blaine flipped out inside trying to get security's attention. That costume doesn't look pee-friendly. I could be wrong though.
wow, i havent listened yet but from marks rundown i see that both bubba and mark the bagger got about an hour each. that is delightful news to me. howard and bubba also go well on air together and for some reason it makes me happy that they continue to be friends now that bubba is off sirius. and everyone who knows me around here knows my love for all things wack pack and mark has not been on in far too long. im really looking forward to hearing this show now.
