Robin isn't a news person. She looks down on reporters yet all she does is read their work (and read it poorly). Robin is to news as Beth is to radio.
 
If you want Howard's (and others) views on current events, listen to Robin.
If you want news, go elsewhere.

Honestly, I don't think it's SUPPOSED to be a true newscast, as much as it is supposed to be a "here's what's going on in the world, and here's Howard & Fred goofing on it.)
 
Yeah, its just a platform for Howard to make jokes about what's going on in the world. Or that's what I always took it as.

LoL really? I never heard that quote before but it doesn't surprise me.
Unlike a lot of people I like Robin, she adds something else to the show. Shit, the songs about her boobs and the 'Robin sweeite, this is your father' make her worth being on the show alone!

She also gets all bent out of shape when they talk about skipping her news. Didn't she once walk off because they skipped it or something?

I like the parodies about her but I think she's annoying a lot of the time and is so full of herself you can only laugh. She's perfect for the show especially because she takes her news job so serious.

She's the 2nd most deluded newsperson on staff (the first being Steve Lankford because he really believes that he's still a hard-hitting investigative journalist even though all of his stories now revolve around Wack Packers and misfits).

Pretty much daily now, Robin mispronounces several things in the newscast, gets facts completely wrong, etc. An intern puts the news together and Robin may or may not even look it over, she just can't be bothered. She used to be 100000% more involved pre-Sirius and in the early going at Sirius.
 
She USED to do a MUCH better job. She's really gotten lazy about it, maybe because she figures people don't care (including "Anything else, Robin?", I mean, Howard). On yesterdays show I noticed she messed up figuring out HOW long it had been since Liam Nesson's wife died....even though she just read March 2009!

Ya but Steve Langford has a huge penis! Having huge penis and having giant boobs make up for a lot of deficiencies in other areas!
 
Robin always loved the spotlight that the news provides but I never remember her news being correct all the time.
