Howard was telling Robin about Weird Al coming in today. Robin didn't know that he put out a successful album a year ago, and had no idea that he tours. It's just the latest in the continuing series of "things that everyone but Robin knows".
...Gary could've chimed-in with "they're talking about an LED display". Nope.
Today, Robin was reading news about the next iPhone. She said it would have "an edge-to-edge organic light emitting diode, whatever that is." Later, she said "what is the whole diode thing!?". I guess the article was referring to a new OLED display, but the way she wrote it down, she had no idea what she was saying. And amazingly, nobody on the show said anything, nobody. Gary could've chimed-in with "they're talking about an LED display". Nope.
Techno-Beaver isn't so tech. Remember, the iPad was a misstep, pieces of vinyl are the best, and those caps are acceptable.
Nice picture. As for the LED thing, Robin gets to a point in the news where there's a 2 second pause between each word uttered - she's obviously pulling-up the info as she goes along. I just don't understand why Howard, Fred, Benjy, or Gary can't just say "they're talking about the LED display, Robin". Everyone's either checked-out, or banned from speaking.![]()
those little, seemingly insignificant mistakes are the ones that can bother me the most.
Robin has once again misread the name of the polling company SurveyMonkey. She keeps referring to it as a "Monkey survey", and then Howard says "What's that? Are they taking a survey of monkeys?"
During today's replay, she thought that the Rosa Parks bus boycott happened in the north.
Rosa Parks, or Robin Quivers?just to brag a bit: i got to meet her when i was a kid. i think i was in 5th grade. by far the most important celebrity i've met. she came to my school and gave a speech and then we got to shake her hand. i remember thinking how cool is was that she showed up in a limo considering where her fame all began.

She only finds out about the news by reading it on-air.Robin reporting on the death of Kim Jung Un
Howard: If he was the older son, why didn't he become new dictator?
Robin: I guess the younger son was his favorite [truth.. the older son was his favorite but he fucked up by traveling to Japan or some other place on a phony passport]
Howard: Did he live in North Korea?
Robin: Yes. [truth... he lived in Macao, the old Portuguese colony that is now administered by China. Famous for its casino]
Such a juicy story. You would think Robin would be on top of this one.

Howard was discussing the Grammys (which aired while they were on vacation), and she was clearly unaware of the broadcast.
