This is an idea I've had in my head for a long time.

I made a list of the 100 biggest selling music acts of all time (removing anyone who wasn't active by 1999, so it removes Drake, Nicki Minaj, Justin Beiber and all that junk we don't give a shit about).

First: what is the first song you remember hearing from this artist?
Best: what do you think their best song is?
Worst: what do you think their worst song is?
Last: what is the last (most recent) song you've heard from this artist?

#1 The Beatles

First: "Get Back"
I may have heard them before hearing this one, but this is the earliest concrete memory I have of hearing them

Best: "Here Comes The Sun"
The only Beatles song that made my 333 favorite songs of all time list I posted here about six years ago

Worst: "Come Together"
The music is adventurous and unique but just doesn't appeal to me, and I really really dislike the lyrics

Last: "Let It Be"
I heard it a few weeks ago

First Beatles song I heard: From Me To You on Pasadena top-40 station KRLA in 1963
Best – my favorite Beatles song: Nowhere Man (but there are probably 20 Beatles songs that are tied for my second-favorite)
Worst: You Know My Name, Look Up The Number
Last: I'll Follow The Sun, played on SiriusXM 17, The Coffee HHouse

First: When I was a kid, we were all driving in the family car, and Fool On the Hill just came out. My father thought it was crap, my brother thought it was brilliant. Of course, they had a big argument.

Best: I'll cheat and say the Abbey Road medley, which is the string of connected songs on the 2nd side.

Worst: A lot of the old simplistic stuff I don't care for.

Last: Just heard Taxman on the John Mayer channel today.

This is a good one

#1 The Beatles
First: "Something" Heard on WLS heading to Aunts. Dad drove his 64 Impala which I just saw one being displayed at National Night Out on Thursday. The tune reminded me of the "Family Affair" TV theme. Shortly after seen the cartoons and a movie at the drive in and started following the rest of the songs.

Best: "Paperback Writer"

Worst: Number 9

Last: "Lovely Rita"

First: I Want to Hold Your Hand. My parents listened to a lot of oldies radio when I was a kid so I probably knew a bunch of their songs, but this is probably the first one I associated with the phenomenon that was the Beatles.

Best: A Day in the Life (or also Abbey Road side 2 medley)

Worst: Revolution 9

Last: Nowhere Man

This is indeed a disastrous collection of sounds, but I have a soft spot for it. My Beatles collector friend had just bought the white album, and I got to listen with him, when he played it the one time to record to tape. We listened straight through the whole thing. I was 12 or 13 at the time.
