With all of Bubba's troubles including Bubba 98.7 FM being changed to "No Rules Rock" the moment his last show of the year was over, I know he isn't happy with the Beasley's. The Twitter trolls have scared all advertisers away from the station. It's just about over for him in Tampa. He is running out of people to piss off. Grandpa Al Lewis once told him "You're past your prime, that's why you're living in Tampa." I think that time is soon, unless he goes strictly uncensored somewhere.

One thing is for sure... if Bubba ever re-signs with Sirius and Howard is involved and still does some shows, I will re-subscribe tomorrow. Sirius would be worth the price of admission again.

It won't ever happen, but its nice to dream.

hold up, it isnt bubba 98.7 anymore? is that for good?

i really wished they treated bubba better at sirius. he was a great robin to howards batman and if they were willing to believe in him he would have made for a perfect replacement when howard retires.

that being said, bubba is probably hard to work with. i love the guy but it seems no matter what the situation is bubba finds a way to piss off the brass. now that is cool, like with howard it makes for great radio but it also says something about the way bubba runs his business.

So it sounds like all those other shows are a thing of the past. :(

The catch? Bubba is INGRAINED in Tampa between the studios (does he still own both buildings), the connection to Mike's Pizza, the other sponsors, the race track, the mansion, Tyler's schooling, etc. Plus, I remember talk about JaneyCakes moving down there.

Who is left? He can't go back to Clear Channel or Cox. He's done with Beasley. CBS radio?

The dude absolutely is made for online radio.

Howie is going to to the sim card willy

Yeah...the day that we all drive around with sim cards we stick in our cars. The downside is that Howard never wants his balls busted, but that would be hysterical if someone were to do so on that.

5 more years of radio, with an app including video streaming of live content and archives going out for 12 years.

hold up, that means there will be stern content on sirius for the next 12 years? so if howard retires after this contract sirius will still have the rights to his stuff for 7 years? good call by sirius looking ahead to post live howard days.

Congratulations. That sounds great. I just included the all access plan in my package 3 months ago and enjoy the celebrity interviews. That's really good news all around for Howard and supporting all my favorite music channels.

Get ready for people to complain up a storm when he takes a crapload of time off in July and August... "He NEVER took this much time off before" when all he did was move those Wednesdays back to regular weeks, the way they were before AGT.

I'm wondering if this new video app will come at an extra charge for SXM subscribers.

price increases always suck but it would kinda make sense if they charged a couple extra bucks for the video.

Yup. Considering people were paying $15 for HowardTV, I'm sure a lot will pay $5 or so for video. I'm almost certain it'll be an add-on...you can't get the $5 (say) TV package without getting the All-Access package.

Either way, if all he does now is talk about animals and Beth's latest project, it'll be great to go back and re-visit those old E! shows... most of the stuff now probably isn't all that TV-worthy unless you want to actually see a musical talent actually be interviewed or play. I doubt they'll have HPE in to ride the Sybian or whatever.

It's a shame they probably can't get Doug Z. Goodstein and Mike Gange back.
I found Mike Gange : howardstern

I am excited for Howard's new deal with SiriusXM including video streaming. That could potentially be worth something in the future, especially if we get the old E! shows, CBS Saturday Night Shows, and Channel 9 Shows Uncensored.

Now, if they could add Bubba back into the fold, I'll call Sirius tomorrow and renew for at least a year for the All Access Plan... at retention pricing, of course.

What is the diference(s) between the E! and CBS shows? I thought the CBS stuff was just re-purposed E! stuff?
