I enjoy having music Madness tournaments as well. I been thinking of some new themes we can try out down the road.

We already had battle of bands tournament twice which made the Beatles won. Were not doing that theme again for quite a while. Not do to the Beatles winning, the last one didn’t go so well. So that theme will rest for a while.

But I was thinking something similar bands by decades or music categories.

#1 songs and not your personal favorite #1 song. The songs had to reach #1 on the billboard chart list. Like what Aaron posts in the 80s thread.

Maybe this theme could be interesting worst bands of all time? I’m NOT nominating my favorite bands in the tournament nor vote for them, which you guys considered crap.

There is no way that the Stranger is a better album.
The Stranger is a great album, with big hits, and a good one to listen all the way through. The same can be said of Abbey Road.

However, while The Stranger had Billy Joel branching out and showing both his vast skills and diversity, it wasn't first; Abbey Road was. It was a revolutionary album, and it was the first of it's kind. There are things on that album that never existed before, by anyone. Maybe some of you consider that to be a factor, while others don't.

Good point. I don't consider since I actually was not listening to pop music when the Beatles were active. So I am not considering the time factor of stuff before my time.
