Disney to make new 'Star Wars' films

It looks pretty good.
For some reason I thought it was coming out next year. I'm glad it's sooner than I expected. The release date for the last film makes more sense to me now.

it does look good. i was (and still am) worried that star wars will become way too watered down and by the numbers like all these marvel movies but it seems like that wont be happening yet with this one.

I have a feeling they're gonna reboot IV, V, & VI
 
I'm waiting for VII, VIII, IX to become X, XI, XII and have new prequels for the missing 30 year plus gap from 1983 - 2015, showing what happened to everybody between then.

So is this supposed to be VIII or just a side story off of one of the ones already made? Or just a way to get more $$$?
 
I had missed that Rogue was a side story.
I'm ok with it too, as long as it's good, and they don't water the franchise down so much that it gets boring.

God dammit Wolf.

I'm with Hectic. As long as the flicks are decent I would love to see mo' Star Wars. I'm afraid eventually it may get old, but they have a lot of material to cover: a Han movie, a Boba Fett movie, an Obi-Wan movie, and the main story arc.
