Bowie '83-'89 to me is pretty awful. I can't stand "Let's Dance" "Modern Love" "Dancing In The Street" "Day In Day Out" and some others are just really bad IMO. I love "Ashes To Ashes" (1980) and "Hearts Filthy Lesson" (1995). But not much in between them.
"Islands" is just plain old lame to me.
