When we saw Michael over the weekend, the tickets (ordered online) were $12 each, plus a $4 convenience fee. At the concessions, a small slurpee (actually not that small) was $10, and with a popcorn and junior mints, it was about the same as the tickets ($28). But this is a rare thing for us to do, and it's just like the cost of going out to dinner, so no big deal.

They can get us with the food.
The Burger Meals are $17. Even our Kiddie combo's are $7. They have free popcorn on Tuesday and $3 Hot Dogs but the soda's are like $8. Last time my wife and I went together, we shared a Pepsi. I tried to do the old Laurel and Hardy joke that my half of the soda was at the bottom so I had to drink the top to get to my bottom

My Sweetie has been watching this in the living room. She is hooked. I have seen a few scenes coming in and out of the house. Looks good, I'm wondering if that movie that came out in January that I missed "Is This Thing On" is a copy of "Hacks".

This morning, I purchased Spider-Man: Brand New Tickets. The film comes out end of July 30th.

Added 4 new titles from the last couple weeks. As someone who was born in the mid-60's, it's not surprising I was a "Planet Of The Apes" kid. Saw the movies a bazillion times, had the toys, etc. But last night was the first time I ever got to see the original film on the big screen. And man, was it great.

Got to see one of my favorite Godzilla foes on the big screen for the first time this week. I actually don't have any theater trips planned for the next ffew days...hope I don't go into withdrawls.

"Young Washington" was a very good movie. From the previews, I thought it was going to be boring, but it was far from it.
And we both got a hot dog for $2.50, a small popcorn for $2.50 and the shocker: a medium soda for $2.50. The 4th of July Weekend special.

I never mentioned we were watching Widow's Bay on Apple TV. And the reason I never did was that I was unsure what I thought about it. Well, we finished the season, and I still don't know what to say. The show has a 98% critics' rating from Rotten Tomatoes, and a 93% viewer rating.

Supposedly, Stephen King loves it. So maybe watch it, and see what you think. I guess a 2nd season is planned.
