In addition to the online bracket I have here, I have 2 others on paper. One sucks, but in the other one I got 12 of the Sweet 16 right. Now, did I use those picks in a way to reap financial gain, you ask? Of course not...whaddya think I am - smart?

There's cash on the line with the work pool. I expect that it'll be donation to the company morale fund.
If I'm lucky, the winner will buy donuts for the office with my money.

I will finish 4th in both mens and womens. 4th out of 7 in the men. 4th out of 4 in the women's. My early success was shortlived.

It's always the case.
I held first for the longest, but I knew I'd drop before it was over.
It was a miracle I made it to the top at all.

Good luck Aaron and Tiki.

I was rooting for Iowa because I wanted to see Caitlin Clark, the all-time leading scorer in Division I, win a championship. The Indiana Fever has first pick in this year's WNBA draft, April 15. It is expected they will take Caitlin. The team has won only one championship, in 2012. With Caitlin on the team, they might win a few more.

Overall, this has to be the worst I've done with my various brackets in forever. Just a complete whiff, & I'm glad I didn't waste any money on 'em.

My wife, on the other hand, has a paper bracket where she only got 3 of the Elite 8 right,
BUT 75% of the Final Four right. AND she got the Final correct ( with UConn winning it all, so we'll see how far it goes ).

I was in first at work for a week too, but had maxed out.
I dropped to 4th over the weekend, prolly 8th or 9th after tonight.
There was $150 for first place on the line.

As expected, Indiana Fever picked Caitlin Clark in today's WNBA draft. Sparks chose Cameron Brink (Stanford) and Rickea Jackson (Tennessee).

I remember going to a few LSU women’s basketball games as a student in the 1990’s and they may have had a couple hundred fans at a game.

It’s amazing all the fan interest in the game now with Clark, LSU, South Carolina, and others.

I’ll probably end up getting into WNBA too now to watch their careers progress.

On the MLB thread I complained about "grossly overpaid" ballplayers. I should have been more specific and said "grossly overpaid male ballplayers." Exhibit A: Shohei Ohtani's ten-year, $700,000,000 contract with the Dodgers. Exhibit B: The 2024 salary of Former LSU forward Angel Reese, drafted by the Chicago Sky: $73,439.
