That can be added as well...there's just so many horror movies to mention that it would be its own madness.

You can mention as much as you want. I would simply nominate the best ones where you know they would receive the most votes.

One day we could do a Horror & Thriller Movie Madness, I think it would be perfect for October. But for now we will probably have a 32 or 64 bracket for Horror & Thriller films.

Before going any further is anybody going to start nominating quite a bit of film like what I did.

I could simply eliminate quite a few categories and go with a couple or just mix all the films together?

I know I added several categories, but hopefully, that shouldn't ruined things. But again having these madness brackets every month could be burning us out?

I'm fine with monthly Madness brackets. Maybe it's just me but I'd avoid doing repeat topics until we've run out of other stuff to do.

I find myself less than excited at repeat topics as well too. Particularly at re-nominating. I will vote again but why not reseed last years list and maybe ask for additions. Or regroup that list into categories?

I appreciate your guy's honesty. I thought maybe repeating themes could be interesting and possibly have a different winner, but that didn't happen music #2.

I like IRBS suggestion. Since June just started we could always take last year list and add additional movies. Or we could have couple other options. Go with another theme real fast or take the month off for a quick break.

I agree maybe start with last year's list, and if there were any glaring ommisions, we can replace something weak.

To get this tournament started soon and making it plain and simple. By simply eliminating the categories and have two 64 brackets a total 128 slots.

Bracket 1 will contain last year suggestion list and bracket 2 will be this year suggestions and both will have polls to eliminate films and rank everything.

This year nominations I will remove any films that were on last year list and anything left over will be thrown into bracket 2. So I suggest finish nominating your films by the end of the week. Because the first bracket poll will probably be posted on Monday.

Here is the voting link to the first bracket for Movies #2 to determine the seed ranking order on how many points that item receives. It will help determine what seed it will be placed in the tournament bracket. Please enter your DRC username below, so I know who is voting and every field is required. The point system is laid out 0 is the lowest and 25 is the highest.

I will keep the voting poll open for a few days, until the second bracket is created.

Movies #2 - Bracket 1 Seed Ranking

Bracket #1 contains last year movie submissions.
