Howard talked about his weekend, how he was plagarized by an English tabloid, how everything annoys him and some about a ban on elephant hunting being lifted.

Also...was the opening bit of the show really fast or was that the replay? I was reminded of a thread from a while back that suggested replays get sped up.

I'm only hearing the OJ rap. There is a speed up on the replays. Why I don't know. There aren't any news hours or any other programming along the channels that need an extra 4 minutes. That was the story I heard too anyway.

Four commercial breaks from the start of the show to the beginning of Robin's news? That would mean a lot more commercial money.

Yeah... Usually I listen to the beginning 90 minutes or so live, close the app and then it picks back up where I left off so I can listen over my break. Today, such didn't happen, so I just put on 101. I was able to listen to the opening theme and it was also sped up. It also sounded as if they cut out Fred's opening bits.

And speaking of bits...stuff added to the top.

More creepy Ronnie today. Tomorrow, it's a Baba Burfday. I'm sure they'll actually get to it, Benjy.

The Peter Jennings "I see OJ and he scairt" bit is one of the funniest things ever done on THSS. The phony caller was a fan. His bit has never been matched by Richard and Sal.

Ya I just started the replay and the theme song was flying by. I had to stop because I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Second best was the gay dance party or the Baba Booey love tape?

Howard had two stories about being nerotic today. The newspaper incident and he going out tonight and not wanting to drink any water.

Baba Booey love tape. In fact, maybe that was no. 1

My current top 10 moments in no specific order. Not all these may be 100% accurate. Subject to change without notice.

Baba Booey love tape (probably the best show front to back.)
I see OJ
Pamela Anderson in a bathtub near the end of the FM run
9/11
1/6/09
I'd probably put the "Vodka straight up, thank you!" girls
Hank vs Booey in music trivia
ETM takes a hit out of that guy in high school
Gay dance party
Scott push-up challenge

I haven't been listening much lately. I've been busy; but also, I'm not jazzed about tuning in, because of bits like this ridiculousness about public bathrooms. I don't find it funny in the least, it just really annoys me.

A few good ones off the top of my head:
- Richard gets waxed
- "Let the poison out"
- Sal's apology
- Gary gets squirted on
- Staff revelations
- The petcock
- The narcissism test

All of those... During the Benjy bit, Howard mentioned how he was naked and jumped into the grotto at the Playboy Mansion. I forgot about that bit. That whole week was fun. Monday was at the casino, IIRC. Tuesday-Thursday were at the E! studios in LA and Friday was at the mansion.

The Brad/Houston bit also makes my top 10. MTV ripped it off for their own deal.

Bubba shocking Richard and Sal's balls was also a good moment.

It wasn't on THSS, but when they all went to Florida for Bubba's wedding and Richard and Sal were using the dildo that sprayed water and liquid assed each other.

"25 get ready."
"You know it's not good when someone says '25 get ready.'"

They ran into the shower and 25 Cent was in there fully nude. Of course, Sal and Richard took a liking to that.

These bits should also be considered: Stuttering John v. Crazy Cabbie boxing match; Amazing Randy hypnotizing everyone and making the tables move; the Amputee Beauty Contest; the radio convention where Howard got punched in the face by Elaine Boozler's boyfriend after Howard tried to bring her over to the KROK table by yelling "Elaine Loser come over here" over the megaphone; Code Red when the feed got cut in Cleveland as Howard mocked another DJ;

I generally enjoy Howard playing hee haw music and making fun of anything "country" but I must fault him on his ignorance of the accomplishments of Luke Bryan, one of the AI judges. This guy has sold over 7 million albums, won about 30 top country artist, top male country, country entertainer of the year type awards and is supposedly worth 90 million. Howard may not like his music (I like country music but his stuff all sounds alike to me) but he should know who the hell he is and not dismiss him so quickly.

Both boxing matches, yes. The Cleveland sabotage, perhaps. The other stuff? Hmmmm...

Howard doesn't do road shows any more but his road trips were always fun. Trying to recall the one, not that long ago, where the crew did Karaoke and Train was the house band. Las Vegas? Doubt many listeners go back to the Amazing Randy days. The Amputee Beauty Contest was a perfect example of Howard taking a lame bit and making it a great bit. The intern beauty contests were fun too. What happened to them?

There was a very brief time into 2010 when Howard slimmed down to three shows per week that Superfan Roundtable was on Wednesdays and the Intern Show went to Thursdays. Eventually, all those shows were killed off. Now? I have no idea if Howard even still uses interns. If he does, he's good at not mentioning them.

This may not be a top 10... but does anyone remember when Howard obtained the Mets(?) tickets?

Basically, someone associated with the show had tickets for a Fox regional Saturday afternoon baseball game right behind home plate. I believe Beet, Nicole Bass and another freakishly-looking wack packer ended up with the tickets.

I didn't get that game on my TV, but I'm sure it was epic.
