Currently, we each have a Sirius Sub and (2) Stiletto 100's. I use mine in car, gym and at home. My wife only uses her's in her car. we just leased a new 09 Honda Pilot which of course, includes 3 months of XM. My wife would still like to get Howard Stern but she would like to get rid of her Stiletto 100 and just use the built in XM capable radio in the Pilot. Is this do-able? I assume I'll have to adjust our subs somehow? Perhaps, purchase the XM sub and add Howard? I'm lost!:help:

Yes, you could get rid of your Sirius sub on your SL100 that she uses. Then add the Best of Sirius to your XM OEM in the Honda Pilot. This will get you were you want to be. Now if she is in a trial subscription on the Honda, they make you go ahead and subscribe to get the Best of Sirius. Not sure how that works specificially.

I have an OEM in my Scion xB and I just added the Best of Sirius and this allows me to get Stern, NFL and my favorite Martha Stewart (hehehe).

Do I contact XM directly or Honda? I haven't received any info on my trial XM Sub as of yet since we just picked up the vehicle yesterday. I would like to get her Howard ASAP.

XM but it usually takes a week for the paper work to make it to XM. You're free time usually doesn't start until XM gets the paper work.

ETA: This is how it works in Canada. I assume something simular in the states.

I am not sure, but you could certainly give XM a call. Since your tuner is working they likely have some info on it in their system already. Then they could advise you as to what you would need to do in order to get the Best of Sirius. Be prepared to give them a credit card. :)

In Canada (may be different than the states), the radios are activated at the dealer when the dealer takes possession of the car. In this way, if the customer is taking a test drive he/she sees the car as it will be with the satrad. When the owner takes possession of the car, the radio is active and shortly thereafter the dealer sends the info about the car/radio to XM. They then start the 3 month timer on the free sub.
