Sorry, but this one of those single artist channels and I am voting it terrible because it should have been gone a long time ago.

The GD has some good music, but enough already!

They weren't that good back then, they're even worse after having their own channel for months on end... Really, if you like the group that much, you officially need to get a life.

I gave it a 5-star. I'll admit a bias here, I love the dead. That said, this is one well run channel. If you're going to have a single artist channel, this is how it should be done. The Grateful Dead are also a band that can support this type of coverage.

I have no problem with people not liking the single artist channels. That's cool. For the most part I don't like them either, at least not for any extended period of time.

But I it would be nice for everyone to listen to the channel and post what they do like and don't like about the channel. All things aside, the way this channel is run might be something you like about it...:)

I think that this is becoming a fight between fans of the band and foes of the single artist channel. I will not be tuning in because I never liked the dead, so I think I'll abstain from voting on this channel, but I'll be interested in how the results shake out.

Oh I've listened to it and I think it is a waste of bandwidth that could be used for something else more worth while. Like someone else said they weren't that good way back and they don't come off any better now. They had a few good songs and the rest were crap to say the least.

This channel has long out stayed it meager welcome to begin with. When Sirius says crap like continued by popular demand that is straight up bull shit.

I like the Grateful Dead, but I don't want to hear them 24 hours a day. If I did, then I would download all of their songs and play it on shuffle.

Now, if they had a rotating single-artist channel and they were featured for a week, then I would probably have some better things to say, but as DAB said, this channel has stayed on for way too long and it needs to go.

I was never a big Deadhead, but this channel has actually made me like them more, unlike the AC/DC channel which burned me out and ruined the new album for me. I don't see this as much as a promo like the Springsteen thing, they actually have enough material to warrant the channel. Plus there are a lot of old deadheads out there who could be drawn by this channel.

I tried, folks. I really tried to like this channel, but I just can't. I don't like this type of music much, and there is really no need for this channel considering we already have Jam On. Take it off and let The Groove or Folk Village go to Sirius, or let Pop 2K stay on. This channel has worn out any welcome it might have ever had. I have to say 1 star.

I am liking E Street Radio this morning as Wyclef Jean is hosting. I will then change the channel. I like the small doses of these single artist channels but that is it.

Guest DJs on E Street Radio - Today: Wyclef Jean | 58 E Street Radio | 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM (1 hr)

Hear the stories behind Bruce's songs from the people who know him best, and stories about how songs effect and influence fellow artists. Everyone from E Street Band members to rock and R&B stars to famous fans are getting the chance to call the shots on E Street Radio. Hear two new episodes each week.

I agree with you on all of this.

I would take Jam_On, throw in a Grateful Dead concert every night, and there you have it... the Grateful Dead channel!

Checking our their concerts, I can't believe how many other musicians songs those guys covered back in the day!

I can tell that more thought was put into programming this channel than the Led Zeppelin channel, so I will give this one two stars. (Although I much preferred Zeppelin!)

My younger brother loves this channel, btw.
