This is really how a sat rad channel should be. A heavy dose of the new, a dose of the old, and fill in the rest with great music and shows. A countdown show, a remix show, tons of kick-ass music, and some of the best djs in the Sirius XM nation. It's the station where I spend most of my time out of talk radio.:buttrock:

Excellent channel! There's a great variety of Alt sounds played here. It's one of my favorites and probably my most listened to music channel these days. Five stars!

A very good channel that I've been listening to a lot more recently, since I can't bear listening to Lithium anymore. I miss Lucy terribly.

I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to the music made in the last 15 years, so I actually didn't know a single song I heard here. But it all sounded okay... I may have to make this a preset sometime, so I can familiarize myself with what all you cool doods are listening to. :bigthumbup:

Alt Nation is far and away my favorite channel on satellite radio. I love the music. It's great to hear up and coming bands as well as bands that have been around since the late '80s and early '90s

But who really makes this channel fun for me is Madison :heat:

Although I don't listen to this channel like I used to, I still love to listen every once in a while. The channel is very well programmed and they do play a mix of songs all throughout this decade.

Great channel. The wife listens to it almost exclusively unless she needs her Morrissey, Cure, and U2 fix on First Wave. Being a 40 yr old "old fart" myself I feel Alt Nation & SiriusXMU helps keep me in the loop for what is cool in the Alt and Indie scenes. This is music I simply cannot get with terrestrial radio where I live.
