Bluegrass Junction is a place where all the best aspects of this vibrant form of American roots music come together. Today's bluegrass superstars form the backbone of the channel, yet the first- and second-generation legends are heard often and have a place of honor.

What we play: Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, The Stanley Brothers, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Alison Krauss & Union Station, The Del McCoury Band, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Country Gentlemen.

See the website for lots of programming...
On Sirius 65, XM 14

I sometimes turn on Bluegrass Junction maybe 1 or 2 times throughout the year and listen for a short while. Usually when I'm just bored with the other channels and I start to surf a bit.
I've been listening this morning for the past 2 hours and I'm absolutely loving it!! I'd much rather listen to this channel than the "new country" of Taylor Swift or Rascal Flatts. I seriously don't know how anybody likes them. Taylor Swift has a terrible monotone-whiny voice that's not very powerful. I am utterly perplexed as to how she has a career at all. Is it just because she's young and writes her own songs? And Rascal Flatts -- well, some of their songs are good but I just can't bear the lead singer's voice.
Anyway, enough about them -- Bluegrass Junction is rockin' this morning!! I will definitely be listening more!

The Bluegrass channel has been so close to getting one of my presets for a long time... I just can't get pass the country vocals. Not my thing. And it's really a shame, because I totally admire the instrumentals here. Great musicians playing this kind of music. It always makes me want to go buy a banjo.

4 stars, and I may end up giving this one a preset just yet.

I agree. I like the instrumentals, but the twangy vocals are a turn-off.

I'll tune into this channel when I feel like listening to something different, but it's not getting a preset.

I don't know why I don't listen to this channel often. Of all the music that we give to the world, this is the music I want people to think of when they think of us. Harmonies and soft vocals. Stories that tell of a happier time. This music is simple. Not a lot of flash. Creative. It gets right to the point. It's wonderful...:)

The DJ's are personable and knowledgeable. They make you feel like an old friend. Come on inside and sit a spell. Relax and enjoy.

My favorite channel thus far. 5 out of 5 Stars...
