I listened to both XM's 70s on 7 and Sirius' Totally 70s. I liked them both although I prefered Totally 70s. After the meger, they managed to combine the 2 stations to a channel that I like even better. I listen to it in the car sometimes and sometimes at home.

I will listen to Casey if he is from 1978 or 1979 which is almost never since the merger. His post-merger countdowns seem to be stuck in 1972 +/- 2.

I like the evening DJ (whose name escapes me at the moment (JJ?)) and can tollerate Magic Matt Allen although I believe he talks to much. I record 1 overnight session per week.

When on road trips with my wife, I listen to this channel more as although it is neither of our favourites, we both like it and we don't like each other's favourites. I also listen to this station as a go to sleep station during the frequent absences of The Bridge.

My ratings:
XM's 70s on 7 3.0/5.0
Sirius' Totally 70s 3.5/5.0
Sirius XM's 70s on 7 4.0/5 (4 stars).

It is my A-3 preset on all my radios.

Listened extensively lately. I am not familiar with a lot of 70's music, but like listening to it. the Countdowns and stuff make it interesting for me, I will keep listening to discover more stuff from the 70's. There seems to be more for me to hear on 70's on 7 than totally 70's back when I tried it out the first time.
4 stars.

I love the 70's on 7. It has been my choice as "best" programmed decade channel on Sirius for some time now. Good variety of music, I like the DJ's, and the occasional playing of those "so bad, it could only come from the 70's" type songs make The 70's on 7 one of my most listened to channels.
5 stars.

This channel is very good as it reminds me of the days I grew up listening to radio in the 1970's.

I don't really like DJ's on satellite radio but JJ is good. He gives little tid bits of what the artist is currently doing in life etc. I wish all the DJ's on the channels were like this.

When we go on vacation to the beach, the other family we go with always want to hear this channel.

5 of 5 stars

Like a few of the other decade channels, there's quite a few great songs on this channel, but they're too muddled, and buried inbetween the crap. Same thing for the 80s on 8. 2 stars.

I love this station, for the feel of the 70's Radio Top 40. With Casey Kasem's countdown on weekends, Majic Matt Allen in the morning and JJ Walker at night radio does not get much better than this.

I really enjoyed listing to this channel this morning. Lots of great songs from the 70s that I used to hear as a kid. I'm just not into 70s music for some reason. Magic Matt was great...:)

I give it 4 out of 5 Stars...:D

It's one of my presets but as with all of the decades channels, I only tune in once in a while for a song or two. I do like the variety played and the overall "feel" of the channel. I'll give it four stars.

Shallow playlist, but I certainly like the feeling of the channel. But once again my programmed Slacker '70s Jukebox and/or Romance '70s is far better.

I've always found it rather insulting that the DJ's would take certain songs that they didn't like and add them to the Jukebox from Hell and talk bad about them, yet in my opinion those were some of the better songs being played, but unfortunately they were far and few between.

I think this channel was better and now has gotten poor again! But has never really taken advantage of the huge library they should have.

Another funny thing concerning the above email. I said in the email I sent that the pad data was stuck on ABBA. lol

Dear XXXX,

Thanks for emailing us your SIRIUS music request! Your request to play
"Dancing Queen" by ABBA has been delivered to our hosts on '70s on 7,
7.

We appreciate your requests. Please be sure to keep sending in requests
for the songs you want to hear and we'll be sure to pass them along to
our on-air hosts. Thanks for being an active SIRIUS music listener!

Sincerely,

Lynann H

I'm loving this channel tonight! Rock, soul, disco, anything you can think of, with the right amount of cheese thrown in for good measure. From Boz Scaggs to Boston to Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose. Good stuff.
