My father-in-law plays this station to the exclusion of all else. Its as if this channel is satellite radio to him.

It is a wonderfly programmed station but definatly is not a MovingEZ or Bridge substitute. To me it is elevator music. Unfortunatly, it is unavailable in elevators due to poor reception.

Not much my taste and will not retain a preset.

I was visiting my father-in-law this weekend. He came with us in our car for a bit and I put this channel on. I actually enjoyed it. On the way home I left it on for about 90 minutes before I changed it. Still not a preset but a very nice channel. I will give it 4 stars.

In comparison to "MovinEZ" ( which was one of my favorite station's - very cool music ) Escape is just a little too mellow for me - but mellow is good for some so enjoy :note::note::note:

ESCAPE programming update!

Many of you may not know that ESCAPE is programmed by Marlin Taylor who used to program the syndicated easy listening formats for FM stations that subscribed to Bonneville Broadcast Consultants tape service. He is active on the Yahoo! easy listening groups and he recently mentioned that changes have taken place.

Why not give ESCAPE another listen and see if you can spot the programming changes.... (hint: vocals)

My wife's grandmother had a station that played this genre tuned in on a clock radio in her bathroom that would come on when you switched on the light. So I associate it with taking a big crap in an old lady's house.

And that is why I was fired from the Sirius Marketing Department. :p
