A celebration showcasing Hanukkah music and Jewish culture. Radio Hanukkah will air beginning the first night of Hanukkah on December 21 starting at 12 midnight ET to December 29.

This year, we're bringing you even more exclusive LIVE performances, more coverage of Jewish themes and events, as well as the return of some favorites of the past, such as HanuKidz and David Broza's Radi-O'Yisrael.

I've been listening to it since it launched today and I like it.

It has good music and it teaches you a little bit about the Jewish culture.

A good station for Jews and Gentiles alike. :)

I'm going to keep Wiktionary handy as I listen to this one.

That medley of Dreidel Sunday night was so cute. I really enjoyed my hour and listened for most of the night. I really get into holiday music whether it's sirius xm, slacker or even my cd collection.

I am so tired of Christmas Music. So much so I've not even tuned into the offering that is on satellite radio this year. I haven't since I've had satellite radio. I hear enough of it walking into department store, convenient store, gas station, on hold music, even on the regular music channels on satellite radio, they'll sneak in a Christmas Song from Duran Duran, or someone else who holds no importants of the Holiday. All the Christmas Music Channels on SiriusXM could be the best run channels in radio, but I'll never know because I'm tired of a life of Christmas Music...:(

I'm tired of hearing about how Santa got run over by his Reindeer, I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, then got served Divorce Papers, or Jeff Foxworthy singing the 12 Redneck Days of Christmas. Even the Bing and Nat songs just don't do it for me anymore.

Other than The Hanukkah Song from Adam Sandler, I have never listened to Hanukkah Music. Wouldn't you know the first Hanukkah song they play is The South Park Song of The Dreidel Song. A very funny and humorous song. It seems that some of the Hanukkah Songs they are playing are playful and lighthearted. Rap and rock Hanukkah Songs that tell a story and make me laugh. Songs that tell a little bit of how it is to grow up Jewish in a Christmas World.

Some of the other songs are very beautiful and tell a more praiseful story of Hanukkah. Women and men singing in Hebrew. I'm listening to a very beautiful Hanukkah song in Spanish right now.

This channel is a refreshing break in all the commercialism that is today's holiday season. The channel is run perfectly and could not be better.

I thank God for a world of color and cultures. Without them, the world would be a very bland place. And these Hanukkah Songs actually make me happy it's Christmas time again...:D

5 out of 5 Stars...:)

I concur with others that this channel is a good opportunity to learn about our Jewish friends' culture and their celebrations of Hanukkah. Very interesting channel. 4 of 5 stars (good). I'm personally not religious at all, but its still nice to learn stuff about what others believe and their celebrations of that.

What Wounderful sounds to add to the celebration of "Hanukkah. The variety is just great.

The first night of "Hanukkah" we spent with very close friends to be part of the beginning of their celebration and it was just wounderful ( and a lot of fun trying to sing along to the words ). I hope this is just a start of something great on the radio for this special "Holiday" :note::note: ;)

Wishing You All The Best For The Remainder Of The Lighting Of The Candles....

PS, And the wine was also good !!

I love the fact that this channel can be presented on satellite radio. It's definitely part of the strength of satrad that this kind of variety can be offered.

Having said that, I found the actual quality of the songs to be fairly weak. I think that part of it is that Hanukkah does not have the same importance in the Jewish faith that Christmas does in the Christian faith. The pool of songs to draw from here is a little more shallow than the Christmas selections.

Some of the songs are the types you would expect to find on Kids Stuff (with the exception of the overt religious message, I suppose). But I am glad this channel is here, and it gives the opportunity to hear songs from this holiday. Maybe the presence of this channel will challenge song writers to write some more really quality Hanukkah songs!

This has been one fun channel and I have listened for several hours. Not only great music, funny skits and comedians. I almost hate to see it end tonight! But all good things must come to an end and we will look forward to its return next year!

Sounds: Traditional Hanukkah music, Holiday music from Jewish artists, A slice of Jewish culture

Positives: It's not just Hava Nagila. A lot of different music represented here from different artists. I caught a really interesting documentary on Jewish culture and points of view

Negatives: There seemed to have been some special programming on the channel that I wasn't aware of. Now while I didn't get a chance to check the website where all the programming was probably planned out, they didn't do a lot to highlight what's coming up on the radio

# of mozzletovs: 4.5 out of 5

Overall: Obviously not about my culture but an interesting look into others' culture
