I caught Gary Garver's show where he read one of Tim's emails. Tim told him something along the lines of "you ain't shit for Howard Stern anymore."

Apparently Gary was using something on his site that said "reporter for the Howard Stern Show."

Fuck that. Has Tim contributed anything close to what Gary did to the show? They really need to fire this son of a bitch.

my question regarding tim sabien is how did he get the job as the boss of the howard channels when it would have seemed tom chiusano would have been the man for that job.

As pointed out on the show, Tim's experience is as a program director, Tom's experience is as a general manager. Howard hired a program director for H1000 and H101. A general manager has no expertise in matters of programming. None of the channels on Sirius/XM have a general manager.

However, some of the things Tim had been doing are usually done by general manager, such as negotiating contract terms with Riley Martin.

Tom couldn't go to Sirius because he was probably getting paid more over there than he would've at Sirius.

Tim completely sucks. He's just a recent addition to the program and he doesn't really get the Howard Stern Show or it's audience otherwise he'd program something decent for Fridays.

He was the one that decided to make History of Howard Stern a two week special. Meaning all the work had to be focused on that instead of Master Tape or anything else.

He thinks he's hot shit.

Scotty mentioned a few weeks ago that someone who works for Howard thinks they are a big shot and treats others like shit. I have no doubt now that he was talking about Tim Sabean.

Garver is a screaming drunk. I can see losing it on him too.

In 2006, I think it was a one-week special. The other week of vacation, they had various staffers such as Robin, Fred, Sal&Richard, Gary, and Howard present their favorite bits.

People bitched at that, even.

I remember Tim on Superfan Roundtable saying that the first was a huge success so they decided to make it a two week special and they had to scrap Master Tape in order to have people work extra hard on the History specials.

What's better?

A) A two-week "History of Howard" with the repeats of MTT.
B) A one-week "History of Howard" with fewer (or no) repeats of MTT and another special the next week, which would probably be some sort of "Best of the Year."

We currently have option A.
We had option B in 2006.

Either way, it looks like we would have repeats of MTT.

Tims not exactly a newcommer to the show. He's been involved with the stern show at several stations for many years. it took me until july to finally get through the history special from last christmas!
