Surprisingly nice
Anybody know why MS basically dumped support for desktop gadgets in Windows 7? I was looking for a gadget that would scroll NFL scores today and couldn't find anything. Granted, I could just keep a browser window open, but I was hoping for something compact.

Any thoughts?
 
MS could drop support for desktops, as far as I'm concerned. I never look at mine. I'm either in Firefox, Chrome, Eclipse or a game. I don't even use the desktop to launch any of those. I would never see a desktop gadget.
