Hate to start this thread but my curiosity has gotten the better of me.

Will anyone cancel if they let Bubba leave?

I will call and bitch up a storm and threaten to cancel but I dont' know if I will. I love the Stern Show too much.

But, let's find out where the people stand.

Will you?

Canada Eh!
Nope. It'll suck and piss me off but I bought Sirius for NASCAR and Howard which they still have. I've also come to like some of the other talk programming.
I'll probably complain with an email but they don't listen anyway.

I hear ya. I will call Sirius and complain, that much I know.

I got Sirius for Howard and NFL (though my NFL listening this year has been a total of ZERO.ZERO) and really, who can go back to am/fm? I listen to music too but nowhere near as much as Howard 100/101.

I bet more people in Florida, his hardcore fans will cancel. I wish I had more backbone on this but I can't lose the Stern show.

It isn't possible---it really isn't. After having Sat Rad, terrestrial radio is just so campy and generally lousy. Even if you are a good DJ you still suck because you have to take constant breaks and play at least 8 songs an hour. When travelling in a car without Sat or MP3 player, I listen to silence.

Thanks to Sirius and Howard, Bubba now has a national audience, but really, most of his audience is in Florida.

I may attempt to follow Bubba, depending on what he does or where he goes. That $90 BubbaRaw.com deal looks nice.

If it's a situation where Bubba is only on in the mornings, then Howard "wins" that one, even though I suppose I could figure out a way to listen to Bubba when I can, but that's when I work... There's the 12:15 PM ET show where I suppose I could listen to Howard, but meh...

I won't cancel, but I will let them know they are making a mistake. Already tried one email to say re-sign him already, but lord knows where that will end up. There are too many other things that I like about it at this time for me to give up Sirius completely, including Howard.

As Ned would say, this whole contract caper is "Shitty!"

I got Sirius for Howard and the NFL. So, no, I wont cancel but I'll miss the hell out of his show. I'll probably stream his morning show on Friday mornings while I'm at work. I just wish they would sign him already.

We'll soon hear the last...............Fuck this place! Its bullshit! I'm outta here!

I already dropped from five to two subs. When Bubba goes I'll have my Stiletto2 and thats it. I have heard he maybe coming to Pittsburgh and that would seal the deal...

I'm out in Johnstown, PA and can get some pittsburgh stations.

Do you mean that Bubba may air on a PBG station? I'd still listen to Howard in the morning but really, if there is anyone that can pick up a few station on FM and stand out, it's bubba. Not that his audience woudl ever rival that of Howards but I could see him being the biggest thing going on FM right now. The market is right for somebody like Bubba.

Interesting thread!

I didn't have sat radio for Bubba and so his going bye bye won't matter to me one bit. I tried listening many times, but it just wasn't something I got into.

I don't have an Sirius subs to cancel, but I am not canceling my Best of Sirius on my XM account. LOL
