Why can't Sirius Give us Bubbas show WITHOUT the bleeps?

Its 2009! Surely the technology exists to do this. Bubba does his FM show EXACTLY as he did his Sirius show, but they bleep the bad words. Then, when they rebroadcast the show on Sirius, the bleeps are gone!

I believe all of the bits are recorded in censroed and non sensored versions. They don't bleep them in real time live.

So what is played on terrestrial is exactly what is recorded for the afternoon Sirius replay.
 
Well, give Sirius the UNCENSORED bits for broadcast. I guess Bubba's new contract forbids this, though, or it's too much work for them.

This makes it sound like Sirius has some guy with a tape recorder held up to a radio. Which might be true with their management. ;)

I'm sure the uncensored bits could be replaced in the show with a minimum of effort on someone's part. I assume all the tape is actually digital and can be edited on a computer, just cut and paste the bits in the right time slots.

Not going to happen. That would cut into their bike-riding time with their families.

bubba has mentioned before when playing bits if they have another version for their "other situation".

Also keep in mind some of the oldest bits don't exist uncensored. Bubba only started keeping uncensored bits right around the time of his "Raw and Uncensored" album which came out in '99 or 2000.
 
They couldn't play Pedro's intro today cuz they didn't have a clean version. Shitty... I guess we won't hear that line from Ned anymore... they might as well put him out to pasture.

Bubba backed off after saying "That's like a whorehouse that only offers oral." he worried about saying ORAL and then said a whorehouse that only did one or two things. I thought Sirius was an adult service?

Then, they come out of break with a bumper saying "If you want watered down, poorly scripted vanilla radio, then cancel your subscription." They need to add "because you can get that online for free"
 
I guess his terrestrial stations wouldn't go for it or they'd consider it too much trouble but they should have a delay and do the show uncensored and bleep it for terrestrial and let it go through uncensored to Sirius.
 
Why would they cheap out on paying for his show, and then pay more money to doctor it up for us? Besides, it sounds like the FM side is in the driver's seat, Sirius just bought a ticket on the bus.

If Sirius was the booker, FM would be bleeping a version of the show that they could play.
